Bundles of problems

I have been having a bunch of problems with my 2002 infiniti i35. For starters when i turn my headlights on my interior lights turn completely off ( no dash lights, clock lights, thermostat lights). On top of that problem I have been having a problem with my vehicle stalling. It has stalled a few times causing no check engine lights to illuminate at all.
When stalling the vehicle will begin to sputter slightly at which point the tcs and abs lights begin to illuminate on the dash. When this happens if I try to press the gas it is completely unresponsive, but if I drop the car from drive to neutral (automatic vehicle) it catches at which point I can pull it into drive and it will drive. It seems that this problem is more prominent with the heat on high for some reason. Sometimes the car will die out completely. If I try starting it, it sometimes will start right back up and sometimes will give me symptoms of a dead battery and will start fine with a jump.
The most recent time (this morning) I felt it was beginning to die, but was able to make it home at which time I shut it off, and tried to start it again with no luck (bad battery symptoms). At this time if the car was in the on position the interior lights began to flicker rapidly (head lights off).
I am so confused with this problem and basically wondered if any one else had even the slightest insight of what could be causing this. I thought it could be some type of sensor, but I don't know why it would be causing dead battery symptoms. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Yes does sound like the alternator.

Take it to an Autozone. They will check your battery and your alternator for free. If you have any codes from your check engine light, they will read them as well for you.

I'll try and bring it by auto zone tomorrow. Most my alternator experiences landed a battery light, strange how it will jump and run fine right now, but if I turn it off it won't turn back on. Isn't the battery light supposes to turn in if the battery isnt charging. I've heard there was a cam/crank sensor recall on my vin but dont believe these symptoms are accurate.

Ok, so I went outside to try and put the car into the on position to push it forward in the driveway about 10 feet so I could make room to get a jump start. When I put the car into the on position (not trying to start) it started clicking rapidly from near the inside of the dash board and just continued clicking. I tried pulling the car into neutral to push, but the shifter would not move at all. I tried pulling the keys out after that and there completely stuck. Any Ideas?

Definitely sounds like an alternator. The interior lights might also be the dimmer switch, but get the alternator checked out and if it's bad replace it and see if it fixes your interior light issue.

As stated sounds like alternator.I assume you have HID headlights
which have large amount of current draw at startup hence the reason
for interior lights going out.My wifes 4th gen would also stall sometimes
at stoplights when I pressed the brakes,no battery light or anything, vehicle would
just start right back up.It was alternator.

Okay so alternator tested bad had it replaced and car has been running good since. Still having an electrical problem where when i turn my stock hids on the interior lights turn completely off including tacometer, stereo lights, thermostat lights and no clock light at all. When i turn the lights off all these lights will shine. The dimmer roller is turned completely up. Could the roller itself be bad, someone told me it could also be the stalk that turns the headlights on and off? Are all these controlled by a universal fuse or relay?
