Will an Infiniti i35 trunk lid license plate piece fit on a 2000 infiniti i30?????

Hello yall, i have an 2000 infiniti i30 and i wanted to know has anyone ever changed this piece out before???? I like it better than the i30 trunk piece. Has anyone ever changed it out and and i want to know would it bolt up perfectly??? If so does anybody has any instructions or DIY write up???

From what I have read I believe that it will, but you need I35 taillights as they are shaped differently for that license plate piece. And then the I35 does not have a key hole to open the trunk and I know my I30 doesn't have an inside release, so just keep in mind that you will always need the remote or the inside release on the driver's door to open the trunk. So that means you can't use the valet switch on the trunk release mechanism or you won't be able to open it. Unless I guess if you crawl into the trunk with the back seats folded down and flip the switch back to the normal opening setting.
