IS300's are nice! I looked at them about 7 yrs ago when I was shopping. Ended up with a 325I.

But, it's a nice car. Never go wrong with a Toyota engine...I liked the gauges if I remember correctly...Reminded me of a Chronograph watch..

What is your budget? I was looking around for an IS300 before I found my I30, but I couldn't find any without low miles around me, so I ended up looking at ES's more. I like the IS, but around here I really wouldn't want anything with RWD with how much snow we get.

Lexus cars are bullet proof but I've heard people say the IS300 had a cheap interior. The RWD is also something to consider.

My friend had an IS300. I don't know about the cheap interior. I was always fond of the styling. It was miles above my 4th gen in terms of fit and finish. Also, there is a very active traction control system. With a good set of tires, my friend never had an issue with snow. I always though it was a good balance of luxury and performance. It's a little less roomy than an I35, however. Not sure if that is on your criteria list.

roomy idc about fit and finish if its as good as the i35 im happy. my budget is 6500-7000 and im willing to go into low 100k miles with the lexus since theyre so reliable but my best case scenario would to find an i35 with 90 so thousand miles in anything but gold lol in good condition around the area so anywhere on long island or close to it. rwd yes iv heard they suck in the snow the traction control is ehh in the snow also but on winters its bearable. the infiniti was a perfect combo of reliability power and luxury in one i bought mine with 93k on it for 6400 if i could do that again id be in heaven lol
