Noticed that one of the CrystalVision Ultra bulbs I put in last fall went out so I'll replace both when New Jersey decides to warm up. But what should I get to replace them? Just wanted some opinions on what I should do since I'm sure there will be a few. Would rather get 35W bulbs this time since these were 55W and the base had to be modified a little to fit in the housings, and maybe all the heat contributed to the short lifespan. But if I can't really get 35W then I'll get the 55W again.
1. Regular halogen, but what fun is that?
2. Another blue tinted halogen for a whiter light, but it can't match the white of my HIDs or LED side markers/city lights.
3. Yellow halogen. Too rice?? I know some Lexuses and some really old Mercedes had yellow stock . And I normally drive with the fog lights on so I don't know how much attention that would draw.
4. LED. Not sure if reverse polarity would be an issue with H-series bulbs like it can be with wedge bulbs and the map light was.
Not considering HID since I don't want to mount ballasts, modify the cap for the fog light, etc.

LED fogs are shiit...
I usually run Sylvania $ilver$tar ultras in my foglights, and I'm happy with them. Pure white light, but not ricey blue. Which reminds me, I need to change my sig...got my old fog / headlamp setup in that pic

well yellow is the best for bad weather, but will drown out your headlight a bit. I put hids in mine and it was straight forward.

Nokya 2500k 55watt hyper yellow halogen. I've tried everything in there too. Hid, LED, and halogen. IMO - Hyper yellow halogen looks the best!

I've been searching and can't find any of those in H3. My dad went through a ton of Silverstar fog lights on my mom's Highlander so it kinda left a bad impression.Originally Posted by Amerikaner83

Have any pics, Joe? How long have you had yours? Probably won't keep them on constantly anymore after this. And did you have to bend the base of them when you put them in? That was the only way me and my friend got the CrystalVisions into the housing.Originally Posted by Joeker82
