ac probs..

I'm having an issue with my 2000 i30. While the car is parked the ac isnt as cold and the temperature gauge starts to rise all the way to the top (HOT) and once the car starts running it goes back down and Ac is back to somewhat normal. I'm thinking I might need more Freeon, is this something you came across ? thanks in advance.

If ur car gets hot when ur at idle, its not a/c issue. You have a fan out or relay out and your radiator is not cooling. When engine reaches a certain temperature, all accessories are turned off, including a/c. I would find out whats wrong with the engine getting hot as this should fix ur a/c issue.

How do I let the old 134 out?

When parked my AC isn't blowing cold.
Car doesn't overheat. I haven't recharged AC in many years, when I checked the pressure - it is up to Yellow. Does that mean I have to let all the old 134 out put the new one in? If so - HOW DO I LET IT OUT? Simply push on that pimple, Low or High one?
Thanks a lot.

A/C doesn't work... neither does the heater

Car is a 1999 Infiniti I30. The compressor is spinning merrily away when it's on A/C, but the fan motor doesn't work. Removed the blower motor and put 12 volts on it and it spins fine. Put a voltmeter on the incoming electrical connection and it give me .48 volts. So it's the regulator (fan control amplifier), wherever that is. That's the question I have. Where is the regulator and what does it look like? Pictures would be good... (Asking too much?) Help!
