terribly rough start
Purchased my 2003 i35 with 48k miles three months ago. Had it thoroughly checked out at the dealer. Good bill of health.
Only issues were frozen brake calipers (car had sat idle for several years), a bad tire, and alignment.
Yesterday, when I started her up, she ran as though a couple of plugs were not firing. Tapping the accelerator did not help.
I backed her out of the garage, shut her down, checked the oil level (it was fine), then tried a restart. Fortunately, she started smoothly and the problem (whatever it was) was no longer apparent.
What would have caused this and what might I expect in the future? What, if anything, can I do to prevent a recurrence?
Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

Since then, no further incidents.
Will keep my fingers crossed.
Thanks for the reply.
