After spending quite a bit of money on my I30, I would like to stock some of the parts that break often. Sometimes buying new genuine Nissan parts does not make sense for a car that's 15yrs old.
Can you guys list out parts that break often on the I30.

Here's my list-
1. Ignition coil
2. Power steering hose
3. Front CV boot, Tie rod
4. Alternator

 

Driver side seat motor
Center Console Armrest
Right+Left Side Front New Engine Splash Shields
Center Dash Clock Navi Bezel Lid Trim

 

Electronic Engine mounts
ECM

 

Radiator, cooling fans, starter, brakes, struts, springs, y pipe, muffler.

 

I've gone through 3 cooling fans on mine (all Dormans, current fan assembly is a Four Seasons). Rear brakes are also supposedly an issue thanks to the slide pins; I made sure to lube them up good when I put my 3rd set of calipers on.

 

The only problem I've had with my 2004, is the heater fan. Went out in August and Rock Auto replmt went out a month later. Replmt from local auto parts is still running .
