I am shopping for a trunk lid garnish for '98 i30. These are difficult to source in "excellent" condition. I missed buying this one which was in pretty good shape and a good price too:

Anyways - my garnish has silver lettering (as does the one above).

I notice that some garnishes have the INFINITI lettering in gold instead - like this:

Why are there two different colors of letters and what (package/options) do they denote (if anything)?

It called Gold package, pretty much gold infiniti grill emblem, antenna and gold color key cylinders.
