It was a good run. My great grandmother had her i30t since 2003 and cherished it dearly. She finally decided it was time to give up the keys (age 83) and sell the vehicle. I took care of the maintenance on the car from about 2010 up until we sold it. The car was an awesome car, and I would've loved to keep it for myself, but with 4 cars myself, it wasn't feasible right now.
Anyways, the car went on to its new owner. An 18 year old women who had just has her first car (Honda Accord) totaled. Needless to say, she's getting a great car, that if taken care of, will run for many days to come. We sold it with 85k miles on it. The interior was still like brand new, with the exception of the dashboard storage box that I broke... The exterior was starting to show it's age with the roof and rear spoiler starting to fade, but not significantly. I waxed that car every 6 months, but the Florida sun still had its way of catching up to it since it sat outside.
I will surely miss it and everyone in this community. These cars are a true time piece of the late 90's and early 2000's and I truly believe they set the stage for the modern sedan.
That looks like it was a nice car. When my 2000 Maxima was totalled in 2016, I couldn't find a decent 5th gen Maxima of i30/i35. If that car had been for sale back then, I would have been taking a Florida vacation.
