My 2002 Infiniti I35 isn't accelerating and shifts hard. TCS and Slip light is on.
My 2002 Infiniti I35 isn't accelerating and when I tried to accelerate I hear and feel a hard bump. The TCS light and slip light is on. When I turn on the car I see an AT Check light blinking. I am able to go in drive and reverse. I cannot go over 1500 rpm. Please help.
While driving today at a red light I heard and felt little bump and jiggle when I came to a stop. I didn't think anything of it until I tried to accelerate on green and my car wouldn't go much faster than the base drive. When I pressed the gas even more it would barely go to 1.5 1000 revolutions/min. I turned my hazards on and I went straight home at about 12mph.
When I was home I took note of what lights were on. My check engine light was on (it was on prior due to a sensor 2 oxygen circuit that I ignored), the TCS was on, and the slip was on.
I took the car off and started it back up and at first only the check engine light was on and then an AT Check light started blinking and then the TCS and Slip lights came back on.
Does anyone know what happened and/or how to fix this issue?
I'm hoping and praying its something I can fix cheaply.
