2003-04 i35 heated seat wiring differences
I recently got an 03 i35 for my wife that's just moved in and it's probably the most smooth and comfortable car I've driven, however the seat was badly torn so I swapped it with a (what I thought was) matching seat from a scrapped 04 i35. I get the old seat out and the new one in, the power seats and memory all work, but the heated seat wiring is completely different. The seat from the 04 has 3 smaller wires (black, yellow, white) and the plug from the car has 4 thicker (black, yellow, green, red). I'm by no means an electrician I just dont want my wife to freeze on leather seats when it's 15 degrees out. If anyone has a solution it would be a huge help
Those are not original to the car. They are aftermarket or from another make.
Can you see if the plugs are added to stock wires or if the heaters have been replaced?

The other seats must have had aftermarket heaters installed. The button on the center console only lights up when that aftermarket plug is attached to it :/ thanks for the help though, I'm gonna try and find the part that goes into the seat
