4th GEN - Nissan Maxima 1996 GLE 150k (No Title/ Garage Lein) $2,200

I have a 1996 GLE for sale. I bought it from my dads old job. He worked as a mechanic for Remco Transmissions until they closed. I purchased this from my dads job. This car has a garage lein. This car belonged to someone that went and got a job done, and never returned to pick up the car. after a certain amount of time, the garage holder gets to keep and sell the car. I was 1st in line so i bought it from my dad's boss. I have all of the paperwork, so you know this aint stolen or anything. I even went to DMV and paid the sales Tax, I have the reciepts. Unfortunatley that business closed and DMV required that i have a valid business certificate. I cant get my hands on that because they said it can take some time, thats why I have to sell it.

The car is in perfect working condition. It Runs, Drives, No mechanical or electrical problems. Call Me (Pete) @ 718 925 5588 for questions.Thanks.

So Pete,

What happens when someone else buys this car and tries to go register it? It sounds like that will be a problem since there doesn't seem to be a title on hand. Keep me posted.

Thats the whole thing, thats why i priced it low. TYhis car will be good for someone who will maybe part it out, or use it as a beater

May be the images, but carpet looks rough. Flood damage?

whats on the engine? yellow stuff...?
why does the floor look like sheat??
what was done at the garage? a new auto tranny? and if so why wouldn't you mention that in your for sale add?

there is a process you can go through with the rmv you just say you lost your title. they do all the footwork and give you a new one. costs you a few hundred my father has done this before. why don't you do it? and don't say you are in a rush. 100 for climate controlled storage for a month and you have a 4k+ car for sale...

it doesn't have GLE wheels...
It doens't have a working radio...
wtf happened to the ebrake boot? looks like it was in a fire or a dog chewed on it..i can't tell.

afaik a bill of sale is all the DMV needs...but then again i never bought a garage leined car...

"I cant get my hands on that because they said it can take some time, thats why I have to sell it."
explain that statement it makes no sense to me...

if you can't register it can't be a beater.
2200 for a parts car is outrageous imo.

something fishy is going on if you ask me.

edit: the engine bay is so shiny. who detailed it recently and why?

also how can you legally sell it without a title. do you expect me to walk up give you 2gs and you hand me the keys???

Motor prob has markings on it from a junk yard and the motor was swapped in maybe cause of flood damage. Those dirty carpets are a bit weird...
