For Sale - 1999 SE 5-Spd - Sterling Mist w/ Black Leather
I am selling my 1999 Maxima SE 5-speed. It's Sterling Mist with Black leather interior. It has the Bose stereo, power everything. It has approximately 159,000 miles on it. The leather still looks good, as does the balance of the interior A new clutch was installed in late 2005; new tires around the same time. The body has a few dings/scratches here and there and a small dent below the B-pillar on the passenger side where it met with the bumper of a Cadillac (it's purely consmetic and not terribly noticable unless you're looking for it). When I had it in for service recently, I was told I would need to replace the CV joints soon at a cost of $400 - $500 total.
I'm not looking to get top dollar for it, considering that it needs new CV joints and the door dings. I'm willing to part with it for $3,500 (which is less than the NADA trade in value). Feel free to email me at jvondran@zoomtown.com if you have an interest and I'll forward photos.

Goldtooth, For some reason I'm not permitted by the moderator to post attachments. I'm glad to email them to anyone who has an interest. I have them in a ZIP file so they don't clog up anyone's Inbox.
Pieps, I am in Miami Township - Clermont County (between Loeland and Milford). Let me know if you'd like to take a look at the car and we can arrange a convenient time.

Thanks to everyone for your interest in my Maxima. I need to update you as to the status of the car.
Lately the A/C hasnt' been blowing quite as cold as it should, so there may be a repair needed on that, as well. I took it to my local Car-X mechanic to have the system inspected. According to the Car-X man, it was low on Freon (there was no leak) and the pressure was down, so they recharged it. It still isn't getting terribly cold, so it might be a compressor issue. If that's the case, I'm willing to knock another $500 off the price.
The car is still a lot of fun to drive, just a little bit warmer now that summer is coming...
Thanks.

you can also use www.flickr.com which is free as well
That's correct - the price is $3,000. Let me know ASAP if you're interested, as I'm going to look at a car today and if the dealer makes me a reasonable offer (which they rarely do), I may consider trading it in.
OK, car is still available. The car I was interested in was already sold by the time I got there. Oh, well.
Iyzmi, I am the second owner (I purchased it in 2002 from the dealership in Cincinnati where it was originally purchased as I recall). As for oil changes, I sometimes do them myself, sometimes I run it to the local Jiffy Lube. Early on when I owned it, I was putting Mobil 1 in it - Lately when I 've changed the oil I've gone with the high mileage variety. The owners manual calls for premium gas, which is what has been run through it the majority of the time (I've gone with mid-grade on occassion when gas prices are astronomical). Most of my mileage is highway driving - I'd estimate the percentage of hwy/city to be at least 75/25; maybe even as high as 80/20.

UPDATE - Thanks to everyone for your interest in my Maxima. The AC is now working correctly and I am convinced that the check I wrote to Car-X to fix it (or at least try to) was a complete waste. The system was charged and freon added and it's blowing ice cold now - just in time for those hot, humid Cincinnati summers.
