I'm flirting with selling my MAX. I'm looking to get a crewcab pick up and selling the MAX. The car is in GREAT shape, not great shape EXCELLENT shape. It is FULLY LOADED, not an option missing for this model year. Leather/Bose/heated seats/side air bags and so forth.

KBB Excellent is $11,300
KBB Good is $10600
Asking FOR $11,000 More than reasonable since the HID's alone were $575.

I've had her for a little over a year. In that year I did the following updates:

- Rotors and Pads (Brembo blanks w/ Hawk Metal Masters) all around
- Suspension (replace crappy shocks with Tokico's HP's)
- Custom Maxima Front Strut Bar
- Progress Rear Sway Bar
- 02/03 OEM HID's - Purchased NEW.
- All Season Floor Mats / Regular Mats also included
- Oil changed every 4k with Valvoline SynPower and Nissan Filter (4 extra filters included in sale, and one OEM PCV valve)
- Tinted windows 35% all around.
- USA Spec IPOD adapter (control ipod from factory Bose)

Looks really nice, I am going to look at a Sterling Mist 02 today. I haven't decided if I can compromise and go with a 3.0/5spd max over a 3.5/6spd max yet but this one is very nice good luck with the sale.

 

IF you decide otherwise, this one has everything the 02 has except powertrain. But don't forget the VQ3.0 is a workhorse that does not burn oil like the VQ3.5

Just kidding... But really, good luck with your search. I'm getting closer to selling by the day. This weekend I had to dump out some tree limbs and again had to borrow my neighbors truck. I hate borrowing cars.

 

LOL well I did end up trading in my truck on the 02 3.5SE 6spd today, I had to jump at it since they were willing to take my modified S10 on a trade for a decent amount. I also got a 2yr/24k warranty that covers the powertrain so if this 3.5 has any issues with oil consumption they can deal with it! Good luck with the sale again it is a really nice car.

have you had any problems with the coils or o2 sensors?

 

I replaced one o2 sensor when I bought the car 1+ years ago to pass inspection. COILS, are a 2000 problem, not an 01 problem. Especially mine which is a late build. The build date on the car is June 01. 02's where already on the road at that point, so go figure.
