Oil gets changed every 6k miles with the filter changed every 3k miles, nothing but Mobil1 10W-30. Transmission has Amsoil in it. Car has NOT been to a "mechanic" for the last 4 yrs that I've had it. All work has been done by myself and other members on this forum like nismology, s0ber, and streetzlegend.

Bump for a sick deal. $7000 is a steal, let alone $6500 obo. Good luck selling and if I hadn't bought my car back in Jan. I would have flown down to come get it. GL with the M3.

 

Very nice maxima, $6500 is a fair price. There is a guy selling a bone stock 98 or 99 for $7500 around here. My brother has been looking at maximas and he wants a black 5spd. So I will show him yours and see what he thinks. Are there any check engine lights on?

 

man south florida is loosing all its maxima owners!!! esp. the vq35 swapped ones!! good price people!

VTMaxima- Good point you bring up , being in Florida I dont have to be concerned about the CEL. Currently yes, the CEL is on.

0205= IACV- Not using one, but you could run one with an adapter kit from StephenMax, and thus get rid of this code
0305= EGR Temp Sensor- Most people just tie their sensor somewhere close to the headers (not necesarily installed on them like stock) and it gets rid of that code... I just happen to have no idea where I put mine.
0503= RightHand Upstream Heated O2 Sensor (just replace it and you're good)

So once thats taken care of, you should have no problem getting rid of the CEL for your state's emissions testing.

I took ubber pix of the interior and engine bay. Came out great.

Any of you guys from out of state, best I can do for you if you buy it, instead of getting plane tickets to Miami, Im willing to drive as far up as Orlando (dont know if that will make a noticeable difference in the plane ticket price, but it sure does save you 3.5 hrs of driving back and about $25 in tolls).

OK guys, Im going to do something that EVERYONE selling a used car should do, but not all do... List the things wrong with the car...

- Rear Passenger Window Motor/Regulator (www.thepartsbin.com, P/N=N491721, Regulator WITH motor, shipped, $79.41, or you can get them used from Nismology for $45)
- Power Steering currently not hooked up. All that needs is for the adjuster bracket to be bolted back to the timing cover (two 12mm bolts), and the belt put on (I HAVE the belt, adjuster and pump ARE in place). Its just do to my class and work schedule that I have not been able to hook it back up. I finish my summer classes this week so MAYBE next week I'll have P/S hooked up again.
- Strut Mount-Passenger side needs to be changed (I HAVE the new strut mount, but like P/S, I havent had the time to change it).
- Driver side axle need to be replaced- Its not clunking or popping, just the boot has a small hole that overtime is spilling out the grease (Passenger side is new and has lifetime warranty from Autozone, driver side is ~6yrs old, replaced by previous owner, so I cant do any warranty on that one. Autozone sells it for ~$65 when returning the old one as core)
- Oil Pressure Switch needs to be replaced. I DO HAVE the new one (OEM Nissan), but again, have not had the time to replace it. Its a slow leak, I really dont loose anything noticeable between oil changes, but I'd still want to change it if I had the time.

Theres a few little things that arent even worth mentioning (like one blown corner bulb/ the Maxima-Standard interior creaks n rattles come up every blue moon, simple stuff like that).
Im dropping the price. I need to get this car OUT if I want this M3 anytime soon. Notice the 1st post for new price

one has. but he's waiting on a settlement. Another if he gets the loan I'll be meeting him to deliver the car (then driving back down to pick up my M3 on the way back )

 

BLAH!!! Odometer fraud on that M3. Odometer says 144k miles, Carfax reports the original owner traded in the car with 159k, and the broker I was about to buy it from bought it this May from an auction with 216k.... Too much dead fish. I'll keep the Max while I save up for a more respectable M3. So this car will be up for later a few months from now. Until then, it be mine. Thanks for the interests shown.
