So at the dealership today one of the employees liked the car, he walked over and he thought it was an 04 or 05. Clearly he doesnt know his generations yet. I'm having the rear anti sway bar installed on the 13th.

Price is still 14k obo.

The Nissan representative hooked me up saying the warranty 30 months or 30000 miles doesnt start till 57100.

Dont be afraid to buy a nice warrantied maxima! You know your girlfriends would look sexy hot in one of these for christmas come on! Tell her you'll put in the sun roof later for 1000. Win win situation.

People like you make buying used maximas impossible.

Honestly, you'll sell the car 10x faster if you get rid of the gay *** body kit. It's probably scaring away 90%+ of people looking at it.

When you decided to mod the car, you decided to throw your money away. You're probably better off parting off what you can to the forums (the easier stuff to take off) and then selling the car for a reasonable price. You'll end up with more.

Thats your opinion and 80% of the people on here opinion. I modified the car and whoever likes it can buy it. It's the way I modified the car just like anyone else would do.

Honestly I know I could sell the car 10x faster if I wanted to part. I'm not the enthusiast that puts something together and then when I go to sell sell it in pieces. I put it together and if in your opinion with the gay *** body kit doesnt sell it for you then so be it. Thanks for your opinion though. I dont understand why the body kit would scare away somebody from the car though lol. It's just a body kit?? You think its gay then write me a PM.

I decided to mod the car because I like everything for it that I modded. It's my taste and money. Thanks for your input.

I will keep my car if it comes down to it because I love the car and it's a head turner. I'm just always looking for something new thats all. Sorry that the body kit is too gay for you good luck and welcome to the forum.

totally agree......but i think because the price still stands and it looks good, it kinda "hurts" certain people.....nonetheless, i wudnt even think of paying that, and so i leave the owner and the car alone.

You say the offer is obo, but you're being EXTREMELY adamant about that 14k number...

If you haven't guessed already, everyone viewing this thread realizes you are asking too much. Please stop being a hardheaded child. Sell it on craigslist or something... at least you can capitalize on ignorance there.

If you havent figured it out yet, everyone that views this thread realizes i'm asking too much. (Which indeed im not, thats want I want for the car OBO).

If you also didnt realize, they have been posting about it just like you just did.

If you have also been reading I said I dont need more post like this if your not a serious buyer. Thanks again for your input and I already know about craigslist. I rather have an enthusist buy the car. You must of missed that part too. It's good to read before you post.

No one is a hard head thats just my asking price. You dont make friends by calling other members hardhead because of their asking price. Put all the numbers together and the car is worth that. If you want to put in an offer you can always PM me. Thanks again bud.

I'm curious to why you're so bent on having an "enthusiast" buy this car from you? Money is money, and if the person takes the car and babies it, or removes every mod and parts it out why does it matter?

Say nothing about the price because enough has been said about it. You are an adult, you've gotten the opinions of your peers and potential buyers and yet you still hold firm to what you believe, even more so you've dumped additional money into it to increase the value...instead of maybe reducing the price by a thousand, you've purchased something that's worth over a thousand and now are going to purchase (if you haven't already) something else....so enough about that.

My OPINION is that you take it to either carmax, or a dealer since you know that this car is worth 18k and have them buy it from you for the price you know you're going to get. Then you can stick it to everyone here and pretty much silence all the nay-sayers.

alicious...you must not be reading all the posts. I never said the car is worth 18k. I said what has been put into it is worth 18k. I understand what the peers and potential buyers want to pay. Unfortuantly I have put more money into the car because its an investment for my car.(Extended the warranty for whomever buys the car) I dont know anyone who is an enthusist and doesnt get an extended warranty on their car when its nearing the end of factory warranty? LOL, if it doesnt help sell the car so be it. GL and have fun. You dont need to post anymore in here unless your interested in the car. PM me if you missed any more posts in my thread here, I will be happy to answer them. I rather see an enthusist buy it then someone else but its whoever comes clean. It's a beautiful car so im happy for whomever gets it.

Car is still for sale anyone want to see interior pics or anything else let me know. I'm putting in new spark plugs and mobil 1 synthetic oil next thrusday as well as the RASB.

Thanks again

Ever wonder why muscle cars are worth more original, Because mods are worth nothing to most people. Its a real nice car but the only way your gonna get your price is find a young kid with a rich dad Gl or just keep it

500 dollar break? 13.5 comes with full extended warranty. I just baught amsoil synthetic transmission oil for it and the mobil 1 synthetic oil. I havent put it in yet but planning to do it within the week. The inside floor mats are brand new and even the driver side maxima mat is like new. The car drives fine, except for the heatshield at low RPM. I drive the car 30 mph in 4th gear to work and I havent had the time to get it in to take it off, to fix that low RPM rattle. I work 6 days a week and drive a total of 6 miles round trip to work and back. RASB is still not installed but will be with the purchase as well as the extra grill inserts. Title is on hand as well. Always 93 gas and has a remote auto start and alarm from compustar that can start the car from 1/4 mile away. Thanks again.

I'm guessing the price is a bit high.. cars that don't look OEM tend to be less in value.
here's why.
oem parts are higher quality and cost MUCH more money. so, a 2003 max w/ oem bumper would cost more than one w/ an after market one since the aftermarket bumper is like 50% of the oem cost. why would it be valued equal to the OEM one ??. i'm not hating, i'm talking numbers. no sunroof ? i'm guessing no Bose. you're basically selling a GXE w/ fog lights. KBB private party value is at 10,500-12,000 depending on condition. so anything over that is not realistic. options put on like aftermarket bumpers and etc, only provide "looks" appeal to 20% of the buyers in avg. 17-22 yrs of age. median maxima owner age is 33 if i remember the statistics correctly. so for curiousity purposes, take a poll.. of everyone who views your car, if they like your bumper/ rims or OEM. i think you'll be surprised.

Again, I love my car and I love what I've done and how I have treated it. Its somewhat like buying a house and remodeling it. Knowing that everything you did you did it best. (OEM or not). Everyone does what they want. Unfortunately for others the price is too high. I'm not worried about it because the car is in beautiful shape and I dont mind keeping it. It's probably one of the nicest 03 6 speeds in florida. I understand what you're saying again people have posted all that good stuff so I know. Thanks again for your input and bump.

right.. but then again, a house is an investment.. works differently.
you remodel to present. new owners will still repaint and get their own furniture. remodeling a house for $5k will get you $10k back. putting $5k in your car, is the same as putting the $5k into the gabage can.
you modded your car to your likes, this is CORRECT! BUT, when you sell, you need to sell to the buyers preferences and you need to atract buyers! you need to present your product.
in simple terms; if you like a pink maxima and paint it pink, you won't sell it! PERIOD.. thats the point i'm trying to make here. cheers. maximas are GREAT cars.. they look great OEM. but when you sell it, sell the Maxima SPECS, not CUSTOM MOD specs like you have listed.

Damn, I picked up my 02 max 6spd for 12,200 w/ 19k on it. Thing is mint. There is a reason why dealers tell you to take off your custom rims before trading the vehicle in. They're not going to give you anything for them, but good luck finding someone who will

I agree that mods don't increase the value of a car, I've honestly noticed that they decrease the value of a car - maybe that's just me. A lot of people looking for a car either want an unmodified car or would prefer to do the modifications themselves. But, like I said, that's just what I've noticed. I see the post just above mine that seems extremely credible so I feel sort of stupid for saying this, but I had to say it anyway.

I wish I weren't in the pricerange of below 10k, because I think your car looks great, just not 15.5k great.

(I didn't read all the posts, just the first 5 or so and the one right above this so I'm sorry if I repeated something somebody else has already said.)

EDIT: Where did that post go?! Jeesh. It said something about mods only adding 275-500 to the car? Not sure. Whatever.

Still, love the car. =] Good luck with the sale.

The car is mint. It's under warranty for another 30k. You guys are just trying to get the car for a lower price...im not a dealer im an enthusist and im sorry he car is worth more with the time and effort I have put into it. If you want the car for 13k you got it. The warranty will be transferred into your name. Thanks for the inquiry
