03 6SPD SE 55K Miles Florida

Well I'm back to selling the car. I just went down to the show at Markham Park in Florida and anyone can vouch the car is pretty clean=)

It's the Sterling Metallic Gray with 55,800 Miles on it. I use it to drive to work that is 2 miles away. I'm the second owner and originally bought the car in March of 2003 with 5500 miles. I put on 50k miles on just about 5 years now.

Modifications include:

-Molded front and rear Stillen tour body kit with sides not molded.
-6k Headlights with the matching H3 bulbs
-2 Grilles the stock one and the one from Grillz4you.com also have the lower inserts that match not installed
-Brand new 20" Concept Neepers with Nankang Tires 225/35/zr20's 95% tread left
-4 cleared side Markers
-2 Metallic gray cleared out rear lenses with Led's that light up red with equalizers
-5% tint
-Stillen Front Sway Bar
-Stillen RASB not installed
-(Garmin possibly)
-Autostart and alarm from compustar 2 way pager
-New Cross drilled rotors with new brake pads
-Oil always changed every 3k with receipts Mobil 1 synthetic
-Always used 93 Octane

This car runs mint never changed anything to the engine!

The bank holds the title to the car and buyer will receive title after payment is received from bank and when they clear the title to me and send it to me.

I babied this car and just want someone else to take care of it as well.

Asking 14,500 OBO

You can view the car and the meet pictures at

Bump, priced raised to 15.5k Just got a 200 dollar wax and the car looks mint.

Also the car has 56,056 miles on it and from the orginally post you can tell I dont put any miles on the car. 350 in about a month and a half now which breaks down to about 8 miles a day round trip.

I also have the title so that wont be an issue and I also have pictures of the receipts of all the mods I have done. Again 7k alone in receipts and labor work.

The person to get this beauty is going to love it.

Cheers

Seems like it adds value/equity to the Max! Hmmmm, interesting way of selling the vehicle! I think people should wait til after you wash it next time, and they can spend an additional $1,000 to the $15,500!!!!!

Underpriced at $14,500! I understand it has mods but surely you realize that kind of thing doesn't increase the value that much...

Which I understand. The car is mint and thats all I can really say. The KBB has to be about 10.5. and its easily worth the extra 5k for how its been treated and the mods.

Enough said the wax is an added bonus?

Bigjoe87865 - I know I havent seen many of us riding around nor that have the 6spd.

How much are you paying for the one you're getting? 02 6spd with how many miles and does it have any mods?

Be good.

i remember back in 2005, it was cheaper to buy a 2004 then a 2003...

what can i say, built in japan is better than built in USA! :|

my buddy was looking for an 03.. they were all $18-19k with 30-40k miles on it... when you could of gotten an 04 with 5k miles on it for $22k, and high milage 04's were 16-17k like they are now..

go to autotrader.com

search for 2003 maximas (any price range) you'll be lucky to find over 30 cars in a 50mile radius from your zip... I found 24.

now search for 2004...you have a HUGE veriaty.. what can i say, good cars are kept by their owners..
2004, i found 125

i'm not ripping on anyone, just a VERY interesting observation i made in the chicagoland area..

It doesnt have leather or sunroof. I can get interior pics tomorrow. The driver side 6k bulb just went out yesterday and I just wrote a message to operatic in the group deals section to see if there is a warrentee or if I have to buy another bulb...I barely even drive the car except to work nevermind at night...so idk what he is going to do. We'll get pics up tomorrow at work.

Cheers

Never mind, thats way to much money if it doesn't have leather or a sunroof.. I have extra HID bulbs that i have laying around that i took out of my old car. I would consider buying that if it had those 2 options. But for 15,500 and not having leather or a sunroof. Good luck selling it.

Do you also have a stillen tour kit molded in? with matching h3 to match the 6k headlights?

Go buy a stillen tour kit for 1200 and change, get it installed and molded in and also buy the h3 for the fogs and install them and tell me how much you pay. It's probably close to 4,000+ with paint and all labor.

10.5 kbb now add 4k for just that mod. Also dont forget about the 20's with new tires and drop w/ new pads and cross drilled rotors and the garmin 680. The list goes on. Dont forget always 93 octane with mobil synthetic oil and 53k miles on it. The car is mint.

I took the interior pics and the car is phenominal. If anyone would like to see them email me because my drive on my lap top isnt working all of a sudden. Sigh

adding mods to your car won't increase the value of it. I had all the mods you had plus more. I know all about maxima's I was in the game for awhile. I just sold it because i wanted something different. But i miss the hell out of my maxima. Your car is nice but its priced way to high. Plus if you do everything yourself, which I did you can save alot of money!

I understand. I have done all these mods and had it professionally done. Take it how you want it. The car is worth 15.5k... the kbb is worth 10.5 at least lets face it the car is worth 5k more with everything that I have done. Lets not beat around the bush.

No dealer options.

I have added a molded stillen kit 1500 alone without paint. I have also added a garmin which runs 1100 with a 4 yr wty.

You can get a similar max that is being sold in texas with more miles and non 6spd and im sure there is more options is doesnt have for 12k here

http://forums.maxima.org/showthread.php?t=541779

I'm more then positive the way I have maintained my car with 93 octane and mobil 1 oil and everything done that it is well worth the extra 3.5k. I mean the rims and tires alone were 2k. Please read the lists of mods - all of them have been done within the last year with receipts. I'm been part of the .org for more then 5 years

Thanks again for the inquiry and good luck.

Everyone is saying "no sunroof or leather"...The car is showroom ready. Leather cracks. If you want sunroof go get one installed by the dealer for 1200. Then go to some upholstery place and get some custom LV interior for 1k. Whats the big deal I dont get it? Sure it would be nice to have a sunroof go pay the 1200 for it when you buy it. I'm sure whoever has a sunroof on their 03 wishes they had certain things off my car that they dont have...?

You will never get 15.5 for it... its a very clean max... one of the cleanest i have seen.... just because you have rims/body kit... which in my opinion looks like a kit on a Eclipse ...doesnt mean you will get ANYWHERE NEAR what u paid for them.
Why would someone pay you 15.5 then go out and pay 1200 for a sunroof... then go out and pay 1000 for an interior... almost 18k

Again i will give you a freee bump.. but if u r tired of hearing crap from ppl on here, then take it off and sell it on auto trader ... We all know what these are worth... and its for sure not 15.5.....

O and by the way... manual is worth less than an auto... i think its like 700 dollars less ...

Bump for a clean max!

Couldn't have said it better, only thing I can add here is that while automatic may be worth more according to KBB, 6 speed to enthusiasts will take in more than an automatic.

You saying you've been on this site for 5 years doesn't help, you should know by now what these cars are worth and that modifications honestly do not add anywhere near what you paid to have them installed.

Just gave it another wax so if anyone is near and would like to see it let me know. Also have new pictures at my car domain. I will let it go for 14.5 with no garmin. You guys are crazy to think im going to let my car go for anything less then what its worth...10.5 on kbb and I put 7k+ in aftermarket. My calculation say thats close to 18k. I'm asking 15.5? 14.5 with no garmin. I dont see what the big deal is?

ok well what would it be worth to you 4k? without labor? Look the car is mint even if it was sold for half of what I did which is what usually happens its still at 14.5k without the garmin. Thank you, keep driving.

I think its foolish for some of you to talk the way you do. I'm an enthusiast, I keep my car well maintained. Had everything professionally installed but yet you want to bash your own car in a way. I'm sure some max's sell for 12k to 13.5k maybe even 14k loaded. I dont see what the big deal is to throw in your 2 cents to keep degrading what you have never seen and to add to everyone else's 2 cents. But please keep all the degrading comments coming. Grow-up and realize if you're to post in here that I understand that the population isnt going to pay the full amount, thats why it isn't listed at 18k+. Thanks for the 2 cents which is probably worth 1% of the population would pay.

lol, see now you (miksen) are coming at me...hard head?

I understand this is a forum. It's for enthusiasts. I obviously know the trade in to the dealer is not anywhere close to what it's worth. You dont need to state the obvious and call me a hard head. Thats just rude and you should lose your posting privileages.

Just remember you're the one that thinks and responded to a uesless thread.

Have fun and try to give some positive posts to this site. Your opinion to this useless thread is useless.

Thanks

why are you arguing his asking price? Its HIS car. Let the man ask what he wants...if he doesn't get his price then he will learn on his own...

You should only be arguing his asking price if your seriously interested and that too should be done in private...Ive been following this thread for the past few days and its ridiculous

and btw I think your price + the obo part is much more attractive to potential buyers

I got a few low ball offers but just so everyone knows:

I just went to the dealership and purchased the extended warranty for 30 months or 30,000 miles. Whichever comes first. This was 1250.00. Car is still 14k obo. Thank you all

not flaming you or trashing your price but...

as stated in many other threads, mods do not increase the value of a car. if they do, it is only very slightly, something along the lines of 10%-15% of what the mod originally cost regardless of condition. it youre asking 10k for a vehicle and have 5k worth of mods, they should add about $500-$750 to the asking price.
