Fellow members, I got into an accident and do not feel like fixing the car. It is black exterior, tan cloth interior; runs fine except for a bad idle sometimes due to a vacuum leak somewhere that I couldn't find. You can hear it when u put your head over the engine. Also, first gear synchro is no good, but I drive all highway so I never needed to downshift to first; goes in easy from neutral. Clutch is original stock from factory, and car has 100,400 miles

Bought the car at around 81K miles used; had rebuilt title
I put an average of 10K miles a year; had it for a little over 2 years
got into a minor accident in 11/07 and didn't want to go through insurance
I got quoted $2500 to fix the passenger rear quarter panel, bumper, taillight, and realign the trunk. i have a primed front bumper I was going to get painted
decided not to fix it and get a new car
forgot to put that the quote included COMPLETE PAINT JOB for whole car

Car is currently sitting at a friend's garage in Philadelphia, as I have a buddy working in a bodyshop there, so I drove it there

Again, drivable, but selling as parts since it's got damage

Maintenance to date:
2 new front tires in Oct 07
2 rear ignition coils changed; one at 7/07 and other at 9/07
A/C recharged in 7/07
starter changed at 1/07
radiator changed at 12/06
gear oil changed at 11/06
rear brake pads/rotors + battery changed at 8/06
receipt for battery in car for 3 year warranty

forgot to get a pic, but the passenger foglight plastic lens is partially white and uneven from the heat of the bulb going out
will post pics up once i find my card reader or usb cable

Cars for sale would do better than here. Most assume that you're parting out in the FS parts section

if you do want to part out im local and would take drivers door and grill

 

how about one of you guys that needs major parts buy the whole thing and then part it out, because i really have no time to disassemble things and ship it or what not
especially when i work between the hours of 12AM - 10AM and car is located in philly
perhaps someone that needs the motor/tranny, or a 4th genner looking to do VI swap

 

i'll throw in a spec stage 2 clutch i got from the ImportCarPartsP from the group deals!
comes complete with all tools needed

 

if you drop the price some then i would pick up the whole thing.

with the damage bad tranny and vaccuum leak it should be a bit cheaper. i just got a 2000max 5psd for only a little more that could used a better drivers door to be perfect

 

1st gear synchro is really nothing as all gears shift fine; just don't downshift to 1st
vacuum leak may be a single hose i saw cracked at the clamp
