1995 Maxima SE for sale, asking $1500 firm!!!
1500 FIRM!!!
My car is up for sale since I bought another car today.
It's a 95 Maxima SE with a new engine that I bought (receipt is here for proof) and the engine has about 90,000 miles on it.
The speedometer says 190,000 but that's with both engines.
Engine runs great, car runs good for a older car, A/C blows cold.
However, the car needs some work.
Rack and Pin is bad and needs to be fixed.
Suspension is very bad, I don't know what it needs but it has no resistance.
Has a leak (transmission fluid) from the rack and pin being bad.
Has a oil leak, don't know where it's coming from.
I upgraded the interior seats but the front two seats have a tear in them, I put seat covers over them temporarily to make it look better, no one really sits in the back.
Steering wheel needs to be changed, I bought a 98 wheel but I didn't know that I needed another piece for it to work so that needs to be bought as well.
I have a Kenwood x990 radio in it, this is about a 450 radio, I also have the ipod hook up to allow a user to use the remote to listen to the ipod inside the car. I will add this on but as of right now this is extra money.
The new car has a Bose radio but am I willing to take it out and keep my Kenwood and speakers and give the Bose radio away with the car.
The car has a dent in the front driver door due to my good ole mommy hitting my car parked across the street. and a dent in the gas door due to some dude looking to start trouble with me.
It needs paint on the other rear fender, I got scammed by some spanish dude at the flea market one day, he offered to paint it for me for $200 bucks and I accepted, yes I didn't know any better.
Overall, if you want a car that's not bad looking and has some potential (vq35, new interior, suspension) it isn't a bad car. I drove this car for 3 years to save some money since my acura got stolen (gsr) but this car has done me well, never left me stranded and is very reliable overall.
It does need work, this car is better for those who want a more project car to race or whatever.
The rims are altima rims that I got on them, the car is dark green.
