*3rd Gen* Very Nice 1990 Nissan Maxima GXE (Burg/Burg) ***$2,100 OBO*** in South ATL
I will begin with the issues although minor and doesn't affect the running of the car...
1. Exhaust leak around the flex pipe
2. Occasional leak from the Master Cylinder (brake)
3. I broke the 'temperature' button on the a/c heat control unit inside the car by accident one day switching it from warm to cold.
4. Front struts are a little soft in big dips.
Aside from these issues, the car is in really good condition. Mileage is almost 179,000. The interior is in very good shape as is the exterior. The paint is just over a year old and still shines like new. I have installed a brand new Sony high-feature CD head unit with remote and two new rear shelf speakers by HD Audio. Just had a brand new set of Goodyear tires put on it. New battery just over 1 year old and still under warranty. Timing belt, Water pump, and Thermostat replaced (the original didn't break; I just didn't trust riding around on the old one) on December 16, 2007 at 159,998 miles. I am asking $2,100 OBO. I never wanted to sell this car, but it is necessary at this time as I am looking to start on a new project. I figure since I haven't gone extreme with it, it wouldn't be much of an issue to let it go.
The car is all stock except for the fact that I painted the black interior trim pieces dark cherry to match the interior. It looks much nicer than the black. I installed the chrome gauge cluster rings. And on the exterior, I installed a mesh insert with a painted emblem (datsun theme) that is offset to the left of the car instead of being centered. Those are the only modifications to the car.
With all I have done to the car, I am sure it's worth a decent price. I can say that it is in reliable condition and shouldn't leave you stranded anywhere. The transmission shifts fine and is strong in each gear. I won't let it go at some ridiculous price. I will keep it before just giving it away. PM me if you are interested.
PS: The rims are no longer on the car. It's back on stock alloys.
