F/S- 95 Max SE, 5spd, 3.5-Built n Tuned, So.FL!
$6000 OBO
1995 Maxima SE, Clean Title, JN1CA21D5ST653189
Reason for sale- I love my Max, but it is time to go. My brother-in-law is holding his 02 Camaro SS (blk/blk 6spd all original) for me and there's no way I'm letting that monster go
MILAGE HISTORY- Car has (as of today) 169,200mi. Well, not really, the body has that many miles. The engine was swapped in at ~129k bone stock as it was (Sep '06). At 132k I upgraded the Head Gaskets to OEM Z33 triple-layers with new OEM head bolts (Dec '06). At 164k was when I opened up the motor and installed JWT S1 Knock-off Camshafts with OEM VQ35HR valve springs (don't bind until 13mm lift) along with ARP Rod Bolts and a Fidanza FW (Nov '08). The transmission was replaced at 152k with a freshly-rebuilt tranny (May '08). Starter is has about 1k mi on it (Dec '08).
EXTERIOR- 97-99 Front Conversion, R34 Headlights with Yamaha R1 Projectors with Apex 6000k HIDs. Type-II Wing, Custom Enterprise red/clears, 20% tints. NOTE- The car is 13yo, but for a car of this age, the exterior has very little blemishes/scratches/dings. It does have a few but not much relatively- see pictures.
INTERIOR- Originally beige (the only remaining beige is the headliner and the "Oh ****" Handles. Everything else is either swapped from a black interior or painted) 350Z black cloth front seats/ black leather rear seat, Diamond-plate metal floor mats, Amber LEDs, old JVC Head Unit, Memphis Audio Component Speakers for highs/Mids (no bass here)6x9 Conversion in the rear+some Wolfenheg (dont recall the name exactly LOL) Amp, Chrome gauge rings, Chrome I30 door handles, OEM S2000 Engine Start Button (yes, it works lol), cut OEM shifter. There are terminal strips for + and - under the shifter trim to easily run power to extra gauges or any electrical accessory you wish)
SUSPENSION/ CHASSIS- Whole front end was re-done with Urethane bushings including the motor mounts. Warpspeed Subframe connectors, Sprint Springs/ KYB AGX struts
BRAKES- Rear brakes are about 2yo- Brembo Blanks with Metal Masters pads, Front Brakes are 6 months old, OEM 2002 Maxima Brakes Conversion with RPT x-drilled rotors and Metal Master pads. All with ATE Blue Racing fluid. Fronts have s/s lines
DRIVETRAIN-
Engine- 2002 Maxima VQ35DE, 3" MAF, SSIM, ARP Rod Bolts, JWT S1 knock-off Cams, VQ35HR valve springs double-shimmed, Hotshot knock-off headers with a custom equal-length 2.5" y-pipe, 2.5" straight pipe, 3" catback (super quiet for a 3" catback, has a 24" resonator and a DynoMax big muffler finished off with a nice Borla tip), All-Aluminum Radiator, 350Z thermostat, 350Z injectors, Fuelab Adjustable FPR, Z32 Fuel Filter, Walbro 255 Fuel Pump, AC Delete, 16v ignition system (plugs gapped to .050"), Motostorm UDP, Tuned via eManage Blue, Fidanza Flywheel (NOTE- I DO have a funtional AC compressor and condenser. I am used to driving windows down for years so it was no biggie to me, but if you want AC, I have the parts for it. I think you only need the two lines and that's it)
Transmission- New Bearings, syncros were perfect, ACT HDG6 clutch, Perfect-condition Axles.
If you want to see videos from the turbo and NA days of the past of this car, look for me on youtube (95BlkMax)

MISC
AC Delete
A LITTLE rice never hurt anyone (yes, it's a real OEM emblem)
Not the best or newest of amps, but it gets the job done just fine for mids/highs

Thanks man
Two reasons; at the time that I did the A32b front end swap I had the turbo piping running right there. And also cus the donor car had fogs that were in terrible condition, it was not worth it.
I haven't done it because I figure, $100 on ebay to put fogs on it, or $100 i can save towards the SS? SS it is, lol. If the next owner chooses to boost it, the fogs may not work anyways depending on how the piping is routed. So I just left it as is

booo...... all the time and energy is going to be gone now!! =(. lucky who ever gets this though.
My experience with this car, well. Iv been helping out with this car for a few years since it was uber slow n/a 3.0 back in the day lol. It has always been well maintained and taken care of. I helped do 3.5 swap, and also was there for 3.5 build for new head gasket and then for the build to upgrade valve springs, etc.... all the good stuff, iv also been there for tranny improvements, clutch, everything. im saying this because I know the work that has been done to the car has been the best, everything has been done at a slow passe to make sure everything was in check and done right, and iv also helped tune it . Overall this is an awesome car, and with lots of potential, specially if your looking for power, its even ready to take high rev's, etc...
the ride is nice and handles greatf, the SFC made a big difference so its got great potential for those that love autox, has a nice drop and looks great. i love the projectors too. the car is quick too, all you need is to extend the limiter and rev it high and you'll see what the car can really do. I helpd tune when the car did 260something WHP, which is pretty darn good for having no timing advanced, and stock rev limiter. with a few degrees advanced, and higher rev, and maybe a cutout (although the exaust is pretty free flowing right now), i wouldnt be surpriced if this car can do near 290's or very high 280's all motor.

Forgot to mention something important. The car does have a CEL (keep in mind, in FL we do not check emissions, so around here we don't think much about the CEL being on lol)
- Both front o2s need to be replaced (I am tuning the "closed-loop range" via the EB and it runs high 14s crusing at any rpm)
- EGR (this is an 02 motor, which did not come with EGR) From what I remember reading, this code can easily be undone with a resistor
- IACV (I don't have one). My idle is perfectly stable via the idle adjust screw on the TB. I've never had any cold-start issues, but then again, I live in Miami. The coldest temp I've had to start this engine was mid 30s and at that point it gave me no problem at all
In an effort to clean up the engine bay from unnecessary crap, I did trim the harness from the EGR/ IACV bunch of plugs. If you want me to, I have a replacement stock harness laying around that I'd include at no additional cost.
Additional Details-
I get consistent 20.5-21.0mpg WITH my heavy foot (hey, I did build this motor, I do like to unleash it from time to time ) 60%highway
The times that I do long trips that say the tank goes 80% highway, I've gotten as much as 23mpg. These numbers are not bad at all considering my heavy-foot, and that I have no oxygen sensor input

Thank you it sure is
No it has not sold yet. I got some offers, one solid one.But as I posted at the top, I'm not ready to close on any sale until mid-end of February.
I'd take a one-time payment from a bank/ lender lol.
Thanks for the support guys!
Just as an update for all prospective buyers, I have not just been letting this car be stagnant because I have it for sale lol. Since putting it up for sale I have...
- Changed all window switches and gauge cluster lights to Amber (damn it looks super nice, I wish I had a good camera to take a night pic) I just need to change the defroster's switch and AC Control Unit's LEDs
- I sourced and ordered a new radiator fan shroud and carpet (both victims of the turbo days. The carpet was trimmed accordingly to run the oil lines up to the oil pump, so it looks ugly after it was all removed. The fan shroud right now just dangles by the 2 screws at the top of the radiator, given that I had to cut the tabs at the bottom to run the turbo piping into the IC) These pieces should be here next week
- One of these days I will put the power steering belt back on
- I already sourced a new driver a-pillar and rear passenger window motor and regulator. I should be picking those up next week (I gave away my stock a-pillar last year given that I had the 3x gauge pod pillar in it's place for so long)
- I will also give it one last alignment while it is still free under warranty
Thank you guys for the help! Keep spreading the word to serious buyers!

Nah man Im selling everything in the car as it is. A lot of people have asked me about my seats, even to sell my engine alone. But nah I'm doing it all together. Sorry meng. But this is how I'm able to get the most out of it.
