The Max hasn't been getting any love since I picked up the new G37 coupe, so it's time to finally let go. Posting it up here on the .org at a discounted price before it goes up on craigslist/autotrader this weekend. I've gotten a lot of help from fellow .orgers, so I figure I should give back.
Selling my 1997 Nissan Maxima SE. Auto, black leather interior, 158,xxx miles.
Lightly modded:
-Progress rear sway bar
-Budget Y-pipe
-Tranny cooler
-Tinted windows
-Red/clear tails
-Clear side markers
The Good:
-Car runs well
-Just had it smogged on Wednesday, so you're good for two years
-Very nice aftermarket speakers & amp (Rainbow CMX 265 components and US Amps MD41 Amp, professionally installed)
The Bad:
-Nasty scratch on the rear driver's side quarter panel from some idiot doing a hit and run while I was away for the holidays last year. Dent is repaired but the paint isn't (I'll post a pic soon)
-Someone busted out my window and stole my Eclipse CD7000 head unit a few months back
. Damage was fully repaired, but car currently doesn't have a head unit.
-Car has some oil leaks that should be repaired sooner or later
That's the long and the short of it. It's a great car that has served me well, and I'm tempted to just keep it as a beater. Unfortunately I never drive it anymore, so I'm just wasting money paying insurance on it. Can't go lower than $1900 but that's a fair price, and it's cheaper than what I'm going to list it for outside of the forums. I just wish I had sold it sooner before I had to discount it due to the missing head unit! Let me know if you're interested, I'll post pics of the scratch as soon as I get some time.

Pretty much just a long-time forum lurker. I was too busy with college when I first came out to Cali, and now I'm too busy with work and the gf.
As for the car, I'm going to try to get pics of the scratch up by Monday, but I will also be listing it on Craigslist/Autotrader then. If anyone's on the fence I would be happy to setup a time for you to come by and see it.
