FS: 2000 Black SE 5spd, fully loaded w/ mods
Well today is a sad day... Time to sell her after almost 7 years.
I've got other priorities in my life right now and this has to go. It's been fun throughout the years.
2000 SE 5MT, fully loaded, frost interior, heated seats
I’m the 2nd owner. I bought the car in October 2002 from Nissan of North Olmsted. It was a lease return. It had 30,500 miles on it when I bought it and it now has 84,7xx. ALL maintenance was done by me. Oil changed every 6k with Mobil 1 5w-30, radiator flushed with Toyota Red coolant every other year. Car runs great
Car has been pampered since I’ve owned it. Never tracked or drag raced. Guys that know me personally here can vouch for me on how I babied my car since I’ve owned it.
Lowered on Progress springs, Tokico Illuminas shocks/struts, full Stillen Aero kit, 235/40/18 General Exclaim UHP’s on staggered 350Z track wheels (powder coated a sparkling silver, w/ high polished lip) wheel locks, Addco RSB, Motostorm UDP (will include stock pulley), B&M short shifter (will include stock shifter), 5.5 gen shift consol, Budget B-pipe (polished stainless and installed with stainless hardware) with muffler from an ’03 TE, clear sidemarkers with colored bulbs, 50%/35% tint with sunroof tinted as well, 5.5 gen cleared HID headlights with Umnitza DDE’s, real carbon fiber eyelids, brand new foglights (just installed this afternoon) with foglight rewire, blacked out window trim, Genuine NISMO radiator cap

It is definitely a sad day to see you have to put this wonderful car up for sale. This car has been well taken care of since the day he got it. Hopefully this goes to someone who cares about the car as much as jason did. Good luck with the sale man. If only I could afford it.

GLWS! Jason is a good guy and this is a sexy car. Someone better jump on this!
Also....just FYI.....according to statistical data compiled by a long-term scientific research study, those who stood by Jason's Maxima experienced a 51% increase in perceived sexiness by a third party. Additionally, those who drove Jason's Maxima experienced an 83% increase in sexiness compounded with a significant boost in awesomility.

jason's car
yes I did! I'm surprised how much different these feel than the 4th gen's. This gear box is so much smaller and tighter.I admit, that is a little traumatic Does the stock shifter make the travel alot farther? I might want that. I think ill get the fstb in the front then back down the illuminas to maybe 2-3. Looking forward to getting a little softer ride but firming up the front end. Appreciate any veterans thoughts on the front versus the back illuminas. the setup is progress springs with addco bar in the back. 235/40/18 wheels. Are these heavier than the 4th gen se? A little bit, I guess. I'll probably get the y-pipe also. Oh, I better change my profile now!! Jason, thanks for selling such a nice car!

Hey Vaughn, glad you're enjoying it!
Yes, the stock shifter has alot longer throws...it's in the trunk if you wanna swap it out.
You're welcome. Make sure she only gets 91 octane or better.
GO BROWNS!

Why would you flame him like that for complimenting on the car? So what if this was a old @$$ dead thread. Cut the guy a break and give him a thanks for complimenting someone on a job well done for their Max.
I feel that these kind of forums should be like a small society of a group of friends. Why would you call your neighbor an idiot for telling you that you had a nice Maxima....even if it was sold 2 years earlier?

Hmm....well then perhaps the MODS should consider a new policy where they lock classified threads once the item is marked as sold or no longer for sale..... Doing that would prevent that oh so unfortunate event from happening in this section.
Now having mentioned that I am only aware of one forum that does this. www.thenewx.org None of the other forums that I am a member on do this.
