edited at 7:50am but did not replay to the question I see...why?

I am curious what makes this car RARE!!

I mean its a manual 3.5 Altima with a LOT of miles...why is it rare? Am I missing something? Perhaps a detail that is vital to the sale of the car that would suddenly make it seem rare and a must have? Because Im not seeing it. As a Nissan lover and originaly an Altima fan, I have seen millions of cars just like this since 2003...so again:

What makes it RARE!! ??

(If you consider asking this question "bashing" then you shouldnt be on a forum)

Is what? Im asking the seller a question...the price is decent, just high mileage so to justify the price a little more, Id like to know if there is something I am missing...so what do you mean?

Are people NOT supposed to ask questions? That would eb about the stupidest way to purchase a car so if thats what your preachin, find somewhere else to preach

edit: If I misinterpreted the intent or direction of your post, my bad and feel free to correct me lol

Hardly...as you would know if you looked up some of my posts, I have a broke doewn 3rd gen and the lease on my 08 Altima is about to end so I am in the market for a new car. Being an Altima owner and missing my 05, I look for good deals....which is what I am doing...so,

trolling? How so?

Then the car is rare because it is a 5-spd altima, the 02/03's are more rare than later editions of the 3rd gen, and they are the quickest, finding them in the 5 spd version is a little harder now than it was in the past.

And how hard was that? At least now I know...the 5 speed is what makes it "RARE!!" I like the 05-06 styling better but didnt know there were more manuals made in those two years so see I learned something and all you had to do was not be a jerk about it.

Thanks for the info. It is a good price and I would have been legitimitely interested in it but the OP couldnt even answer a question..definitely on the top of my "avoid this seller" list.

first of all, i dnt know how mult-quote, im using my cousins name.

I havnt seen much 3.5 Altima SEs 5-speed other then SE-Rs, which are a bit pricey. I put Rare, so people with get kinda puzzled and want to view the thread, Pretty much, just getting the buyers attention.

Thanks bud^^

well what kind of price are you looking for? I mean I know ish is negotiable as you say but name the price and that determines if its in my budget. I mean give me some range...5K=6K....6K-7K?? Or is it pretty mmuch 6.5-7.2K?? I just dont like haggling so I prefer you name your bottom dollar and see if that fits the bill...

KBB Excellent--- $5985
KBB Good--- $5410
KBB Fair---$4660

With the appropriate options/mileage per the listing...this should help with negotiating

$7200

I wouldnt go buy KBB, cuz its not always right. even though i check it out before i sell a car. I check pretty much all of them. this is my personal car, but i work with a dealership, so I have most of the books to see the prices.

Dealers generally overcharge for vehicles, and since a dealer is not selling this car the private party values would apply, and not dealer values.

Great car, good luck.
I had an '02 3.5SE 5MT satin white w/black leather. with every option minus HID.

Loved that car. had to sell only because I knew i was gonna be in school. Wish I still had it.

Curious. Will a 6-speed tranny bolt up w/o any issues, swapping of axles, etc. ?

More than likely.. The Altima SE-R and the new 07 and up Altimas all have 6 speeds, and its the same 3.5L engine.

If you're going for performance, the 5 speed in there is the way to go. The gear ratio's in these make them quicker than the same year 6 speed Maxima.

True, the 3.5 5mt's can jump pretty well on a 6mt g35 before the g out tq's and powers them. The 6mt stock max's can't.

Stock vs stock, the 5mt would be the way to go for performance.

For sure, my '02 3.5SE still to me felt faster than my '02 SE 6MT
