FS: 1992 SE 5-speed - Burbank, CA (also S14)

Old timer, checking out. I've got a new ride on the way, so this sucker has to go.

1992 Nissan Maxima SE 5-speed
$2,000

110,761 miles
(Purchased in 2001 w/ 76k miles)
5-speed Manual Transmission
Exterior - Pearl White
Interior - Black/Tan cloth - With front seat covers
No ABS, no airbag, no sunroof, the lightest VE SE made.
New Battery
Just replaced the rear 3 fuel injectors
No VTC clatter

Modifications:
Remote Start/keyless entry
Koni Adjustable dampers
H&R Lowering Springs
Pacesetter Short Shifter
Sola Luna Shift ****
Redline custom Leather Shift boot
Warp Speed Performance - Mandrel bent, Stainless Steel "Y-Pipe"
Warp Speed Performance - "Sub Frame connectors"
Fidanza Aluminum Flywheel (w/ OEM Nissan Clutch)
BlehmCo Rear Strut Tower Brace (RSTB)
BlehmCo front lower tie bar (stage 1)
ADDCO rear anti-sway bar (w/ reinforced brackets and BlehmCo hangers.
Suspension Techniques front anti-sway bar
Urethane filled Engine & Transmission mounts
Energy Suspension - Rear parallel link bushings
Energy Suspension - Front Control Arm Bushings

The Bad:
This car has been in an accident, but the title is clean. The hood, lights, bumper cover and right fender were replaced with parts from another Maxima.
The AC needs to be recharged.
The Blows audio system doesn't work very well. You're going to replace it anyway.

Before you say anything, yes I know it's priced above KBB. If someone wants to come trade me their stock suspension for the Koni/H&R, then the price will go down. I'll also remove mods and sell them off if I have to.

Yes, I know it's filthy. I spent all weekend removing the Z brakes (Z32 front, Z31 disks rear) from this car and all the suspension mods from my 240sx and ran out of time to wash it.

Also Available
Courtesy Nissan - Front Strut Tower Brace (FSTB)
Place Racing Cold Air Intake (CAI)
Z32 front disks shaved for use on a Maxima (Brembo Blanks)
Early 3rd gen rear caliper mounts for Z31 disk conversion
Nissan Skyline R32 Wheels (16x8, +30, Forged)

Email for questions. lrdrandall@yahoo.com
I'm not on the board much, so that's the best way to reach me.

I'm also selling my 240sx, 1996 SE, 5-speed, no sunroof, no ABS, no mods, 141k miles. Email me with questions.

Cheers!
Randy

One of the ONLY 3rd Gens with H&R's before they were discontinued.

Finally moving on from the 3rd Gen world I see. What do you have on the way, may I ask?

Good luck with the sale

Yeah, I haven't seen many 3rd gens with these springs. With the Koni they ride really nice.

Well I bought the 240sx about 4 years ago, but I'm selling both. Check the rides part of my info.

I haven't listed it seriously yet because there are a few more things I want to address, but here are a few pics:

I had a bit of a tussle with an Accord as you can see. I have a new OEM bumper cover that just needs a coat of paint, then I'm going to post it up for sale. Those are the pictures before I removed the suspension, it's at stock height with stock wheels now. I've sold most of my 240 mods already, but I have a FSTB still.

1996 SE, 5-speed, no sunroof, no ABS, no mods, 141k miles. Black/Black cloth.

And any idea how much you'd be looking for on the 240?

Oh no, not another 3rd genner selling in favor of BMW. I wouldn't even put the E36 lights on my car.. "To each his own" i guess..

That is amazing, only 110k and with those mods/work done, someone will be getting a lot of car for not a lot of money.

Nice choice on the new car

The 240 really looks sharp with those R32 wheels on it

Just sold the car to a guy who needed basic transportation. Bye bye Maxima.

Thanks, I really like the M5, it is so effortlessly fast.

I so love those wheels, they moved from my Maxima to my 240, so nice. I shipped them off this morning. I miss them almost more than the Maxima.

Since when did Nissan's flagship sedan become "basic transportation"?

I loved my Maxima as much as anyone, but Nissan has turned its back on enthusiasts with the latest Maxima. No manual transmission? Sorry, no sale.

IMO the Maxima should have been built on the G37 platform and become a more raw sporting sedan (cheaper, lighter, less options), but there's no market for it.
