WTB: 4th Gen

All:
I am looking for a quality 4th Gen maxima. Let me know what you have modded on it, color, mileage, etc and pics. Price range is under $2K so I know that eliminates alot of people. I am not sure what the options are, but you never know until you ask. I am located in Central Virginia.

Definitely won't find a 'quality' car for that price range, but if you're interested in mine...see the link in my signature. Can deliver.

Mine is as 'quality' as quality gets when it comes to 4th gens. Many people can vouch for this car on this forum.

dont be an a$$ to the guy, he stated his price range, just because some of you think its absurd doesnt give you the right to be rude, i paid 2300 for mine ,200k on the body with a 130k motor and tranny swap, needs mostly body work suck as front and rear bumpers but i didnt care cause im doin a 97 conversion regardless, a few small issues such as the guide to the sunroof was broke and the bumper lights are hacked and the cats removed and o2 is just hanging under the car but aside from the mechanically it probably runs better than yours so keep your half a#$ opinions to yourself

He is right...Im selling my 97 Max for about 1,000....If he was here(Atlanta) and found a used tranny for around 300 and got it put in for around 300....then He woulda had a Maxima for 1600? So yeah maybe getting a perfectly running Max might be a little unrealistic but a decent Max with some work needed is reasonable for his price range.

I sold my '97 that ran perfectly with 270k miles, and the mechanics said it ran and drove like new and also had no problems for $1200. In reality the highest prices i have seen for some years maxima have been on this site cause they are taken care of and modded.

No one (except for poster number 3) is being rude.

Quality to me = mint. You won't find mint for $2k. Plain and simple. You might find a well running machine for $2k but it will have it shares of other problems.

Regardless, OP, if you change the stance on your price and want a truly 'quality' car (looks great and drives just as great), talk to me. Like I said, my 4th gen is one of the cleanest on this forum. Paint is smooth as glass and it's clean.
