its far from over priced due to the fact that the car has more than 13,000 into it and the drive train is completely new, and the car is just about mint!

Lol, wait. Is this your car?

Methinks it is

I'm not trying to be a *****, but really that's way overpriced. You can get a turbo vq35 swapped 4th gen for that. Plus we all know you don't hardly get your money out of mods, just a sucky fact of car ownership.

Also, fuel management? For anybody who would be seriously interested in the car, that would be their top priority, and there's no mention of it in the ad.

That's also a tiny intercooler for a "minimum" 400 hp setup

Nice, clean car. But it really is overpriced in terms of what the market/demand is for it. I really don't even think it could sell for half that, unfortunately

If you read the listing, it clearly says fuel management is jimwolf ecu which is easily upgradeable to anything you want for an extra $100.00 when you send it back to him. Also that would have been to easy to do, an engine swap is for rookies. I built the engine myself with the existing power plant which was only done maybe a few times if that many. The intercooler is sufficient enough for the horsepower.

Don't forget the $500 deposit though.

Clean as ****, and probably very quick at 17 PSI, but he's probably going to have some trouble with offers at that price due to it's age.

Ahh, yes, I missed the JWT ECU bit.

BUT, for $8k, I think people would prefer a standalone system adjustable on the fly rather than a static ECU upgrade.

Like I said, the car is really clean, and your setup looks nicely done as well. It's just too expensive. I've been in the 3rd gen "game" for over a decade now, and I can tell you from experience that the 3rd gen community has just fallen off a cliff this past year or two (not that it's been exactly "vibrant" even over the past 3-4 years), and that there is just ZERO demand for heavily modded 3rd gens, unless they are at a staggeringly low price.

I REALLY hope you sell the car. I hope you get what you want out of it, and hopefully it goes to a good home and somebody who'll hang around Max.org when they pick the car up. It's just that recent history with modded 3rd gens (heck, even 4th and 5th gens) shows that it likely won't get any serious interest at the price range you're looking for.
