FS/FT in NV: 97 240SX, LS1 V8 swap, trade for 02/03 6-speed?
SOLD!
Here's the info on my car.
1997 240SX SE, real 97 Kouki, not a conversion. LS1/6-speed swap using the Hinson mounting kit. Runs great, doesn't leak, doesn't overheat - it was my daily driver when it's not 110 outside, cause there is no A/C. Still has power steering, full interior (black leather), I didn't want this to be a stripped out project, but something I can live with every day. I've been daily driving it for almost 2 years with practically zero problems. It starts up right away even after sitting for a few weeks. I just don't drive it as much as I used to, so I'd rather have it go to a good home and be enjoyed by somebody else, or put into a wall at a drift event, as long as it's getting driven like it should.
I'm not really looking for any trades, but might consider some newer cars, depends what you got. Definitely not looking for any projects, if I do a trade, it would have to be for something that's close to stock. I have the clean NV title in my name. Aside from the engine swap, here are the other mods:
Stance GR Pro coilovers
Z32 front brakes
Rota P45R's, 18x9.5 +30 offset - 245's in the front, 275's in the back (beat up Toyo RA-1's). Also have another pair of brand new 275 wide Sumitomos (not mounted)
Greddy Tri-Tube front/rear strut bars
J30 VLSD rear (3.90)
Full JDM S14 Silvia kit - front bumper, side skirts, rear bumper, and rear valence pieces, all OEM pieces, not fiberglass/aftermarket
Greddy front lip for JDM bumper
Silvia grill
CF vented hood (no brand), VIS CF trunk, also have an extra stock trunk
Carbon fiber TCS mirrors
Silvia door sills
S15 Spec R steering wheel
JDM gauge cluster
The only bad thing is that someone hit it when it was parked in my driveway on the driver's rear quarter panel. I didn't get it fixed, but it could probably be pulled out and touched up, or just covered up with overfenders - I'll leave that up to whoever buys it.
Asking $12,500.

I'm dead set on an 02/03, I already have a 99 as you can see in my sig - and the only reason I'm looking at upgrading is that I want the VQ35 and 6 gears. It's a long shot, but I had a lot of trade offers for the car locally as it is.

OP, glws. Good-looking car. I've always wanted a 240 with an LS swap. Too poor on my end, though.

It's been a while, I'm finally getting around to cleaning up the car and trying to sell it for real now. Still open to a trade for an 02-03 SE 6-speed Maxima, silver with black leather, TE/Navi/HLSD would be awesome
I'm going to try to put it on Zilvia and then eBay if nobody there bites.
