FS/FT 02 Maxima SE 6MT

OK, I'm really missing having a truck so I'm looking to trade for another truck. This is copied right from my craigslist listing. If you think the price is high, I don't HAVE to sell and trading is just easier than me selling it and not having a vehicle till i buy another one.

I have a 2002 maxima se 6 speed with 122k on it. black on black leather. The car is fully loaded, power everything, sunroof, heated seats, 6 disc bose stereo (not in the car but will put back in if it goes), full driver information center, ect. (i'm sure there is a bunch that I'm forgetting). It is a fun car to drive, lots of power. Within the last year i've replaced the clutch, slave cylinder, master cylinder, steering rack, pads and rotors all around, both rear calipers, hid bulbs (yes it has factory HIDS), radiator, high pressure power steering line (completely from the pump to the rack). Within the last two months I've replaced the cat-back exhaust, 1 of the o2 sensors, lower motor mounts, tranny fluid, oil change, spark-plugs, intake gasket, mass airflow sensor, and fuel filter. It could use some new tires and the body isn't perfect, mostly just parking lot dings from the previous owner and the front bumper is cracked. Has a little rust coming through the passengers rear wheel well. The passengers side axle seal is leaking. The fuel door and actuator need to be replace, I have them, they just need to be put on and painted to match. It also has a slight crunch going into second gear from time to time. All other gears are fine. I have the title in hand and it is clean. I'm just looking to trade for a truck or a jeep of the same value or less (must be able to add money to your vehicle). I would sell outright for $5000 FIRM if someone was interested. I DON'T have any money to put ontop of this car so DON'T ask please. I don't need to sell it either, I'm just bored with it and want another truck or jeep. I miss having a truck. Truck has to be at least extended cab, 4x4, and at least a v-8. rust free is a MUST. I'm mainly looking for 99+ GM trucks but will consider others if they are good enough. 2002+ tahoe, suburban, yukon, denali only. Jeeps I'm pretty open, just no liberty. Make me an offer and we'll see where it goes, I'm pretty open. Sorry for the poor picture, cell phone. I also have ES shifter bushings that haven't gone in yet that will go to an org member if they buy it. PM me if interested.

I cleaned it up a bit today, didn't do a thorough detail, but still cleaned it a bit. The exterior shots are with it still wet because I was running out of sun light and i wanted to get some shots in. It isn't perfect and needs some tlc but here it is.

Great price for that car! I'd have been looking at that big if it was on the West Coast.

updated op with a few things I had forgotten "Has a little rust coming through the passengers rear wheel well. The passengers side axle seal is leaking. The fuel door and actuator need to be replace, I have them, they just need to be put on and painted to match."

I'm gonna try to get some more pictures to post up tonight. I have to get interior pics for another member that is interested so I'll update the thread with them too.

Bump! Quickly thinking about keeping it as I'm loving driving it in the warmer weather. It may not be for sale too much longer. If anyone is interested, let me know before I change my mind and keep it.

I don't think I've seen you around either, which is wired because ther isn't many modded maximal around here so I typically notice them. I'm loving driving it in the warmer weather lately but I'm always coming up with things that I need a truck or trailer for. I've had a couple offers from craigslist but nobody has actually come to look at it so we'll see what happens.

Yeah I think I have myself pretty convinced to just keep it. Tired of getting my hopes up with people offering me exactly what I want then never hearing from them again. It doesn't really need a whole lot, just little stuff. The biggest thing is body work. I just haven't had the time to do it. Once I do all the body work and paint it, it'll be looking good, then I can start on the suspension, This thing is like a damn monster truck, it actually has more ground clearance than my last full size truck.

LOL yea a nice set of springs with illuminas would do it justice, im dropped 2 inches more or less all around, theres alot you can do to it,i just dont know how old you are or what youd be looking to accomplish, regardless its a sexy car and has a TON of potential, all that "negative" stuff is minor and can be had off this site or even new fairly cheap ....all my car needs is minor bodywork and alignment and rubbers all around along with some slight rewiring on the ecu for my emissions, sounds alot but its not lol

I know, I'm saving for coilovers, my last max was about 2" off the ground. was thinking about settling for some tiens and tokikos I need new rubber all around too. the body work isn't a problem for me as I'm a body man at heart, just don't do it professionally anymore. I've done soo much to the car in the last year, there really isn't awhole lot that can go wrong with it.
