Looking to possibly trade my 1999 Nissan Maxima GLE 5 speed. Body shows 270K but trans was completely replaced with remanufactored (from top to bottom) LSD trans (have reciepts) a month ago. Motor, honestly don't know what the mileage is on it but seems it was replaced with another motor when I got the car two years ago. Car does not leak a bit of oil from the trans or motor or no colored smoke by any means. I have put over $4K in parts on this car over the last 4 months. Here is the list

All four cross drilled rotors with new pads (less than 6 months ago)
seafoamed motor case and intake
new fuel filter
Ebay shorty headers
Megan test pipe
mid pipe sensor
RSR catback exhaust
ebay cold air intake (not shown in the pics)
stage 2 6 puck clutch
Competition Clutch lightweight flywheel
OEM (yes from Nissan) throw out bearring
New LSD transmission ($1500)
lightweight Cosmo crank pulley
replaced all gaskets (including front crank and rear main)
new CV axles (haven't put right side it, boot is tore just haven't had time)
dual core aluminum radiator with red hoses
Short throw shifter
possible willing to throw in my 19x8 Axina Neo too (needs tires)
sitting on 17" 06 Maxima wheels now with good set of tires less than 6 months old

Cons:
Needs new interior carpet (under drivers and back passenger floor mat the carpet is seperating from glue)
Park neutral switch (Ill include the part or replace before)
paint chips (bumper and hood mainly) for any car this old

 

I have pictures (i"m pretty sure) of all the parts I have put on and willing to take any new pics if you'd like to see something specific. Looking for a 240 lightly modded and runds good as well as in decent shape. Not worried about mileage

Book valve on that vehicle with 270K is probably under 2K.
Either you find somebody who wants a modded 13 year old Maxima or I'd start taking your mods back off and selling them separately. It's more marketable in it's stock form. Although with 270K on it, it's going to be a tough sell.

 

Ok well for starters... the top end is a de top end...so either you got a full dek swap in your car or 00vi swap... must specify that will make a difference... seondly as stated...270k on odometer....gonna be tough to sell....

Honestly if you see I'm wanting to trade not sell. a S13 stock would be a decent trade. You guys are going off of mileage of the body (and normally that's fine) but when the motor or the trans and numerous other parts are even of the orginal equipment. I would expect that out of the every joe blow but people that mod and swap made me think the thoughts might be different in your head.

I'm not saying my car is anythign special but thought with the mods that are on here it would be worthy of more than a bone stock max of the same generation that has an old motor or trans.
