Loaded 2004 SE, mechanics special
2004 Nissan Maxima SE $2800
Atlanta/Chamblee/Doraville area
Pretty much all of the options. Spirited Bronze exterior with black leather interior. Rare Elite interior package (bucket seats and center console in back seat), heated seats front and back, heated steering wheel, power folding and heated mirrors, Bose stereo, navigation, power rear shade, power sunroof, rear spoiler, TCS system (advanced traction control). About 126K miles. No rips or tears in the seats but some average scuffing and wear on plastic pieces. Car ran strong until I took it in for a basic sensor replacement. Nissan dealership tells me it is a short in the main harness, not a sensor. When they pulled back the jacket for the harness more damage was discovered. In the troubleshooting process some of the damaged wiring has loosened and the car will not start. No power to the Engine Control Module (ECM). I have a statement of work from the Nissan dealership showing that replacement of the main harness for $2400 repair will get it running. I can email that statement of work to you. I don't have the money to spend so this car has to move. If you are a mechanic, this is a great opportunity. Nissan quotes the job at 13 hours so almost all of that $2400 is labor so there is a lot of room for you to make money on this. Even if you take it to the dealership your total investment will be $5200 and you will come out ahead of the total value of the car.
There is also an area on the drivers side rear wheel well that needs paintwork so the exterior isn't perfect. The linked photos have the damage so you can see that it isn't really noticeable from a distance. I have the wheels pictured but they are no longer on the car. If you want them we can talk about that as well.
Will also consider full or partial trade offers, especially for a Ford Taurus SHO or Buick Regal GS.
