2002 Nissan Maxima Turbocharged 6 speed.
I am moving on to a different project. I bought the car almost two years ago with the intention of fixing it up, but do not have time any more. I redid a lot of stuff on the car, but but how it got in it's current shape is a long story.
AT THE MOMENT THE CAR IS NOT RUNNING. It runs fine, but the battery died and I was working on fixing so many things I have not bothered to start it.
2002 Nissan Maxima - Merlot (Body has 193,xxx miles on it)
- HLSD 6 speed (stated by previous owner) - 85,xxx miles
- 04 3.5 - 85,xxx miles on it (stated be previous owner)
- Leather
- Heated Seats
- Heated Steering wheel
- Bose
- Sunroof
Mods
- Custom turbo system with T4/T70 turbo with 3" downpipe
- Custom 3" exhaust
- TurboXS Utec (hardwired into car)
- Cobra 470cc injectors
- Rota Grid 17x9.5 +30 all around
- BC Coilovers (under 2500 miles on them)
- NWP Block off plate
- Pioneer Flip Out DVD/CD/IPod/Navigation unit
- Newer steering rack (75,000 miles on it)
- Coilpacks replaced less than 3,000 miles ago
- Starter and Alternator are two years old (less than 3000 miles on them)
- New tie rods
Probably more that I am forgetting. I will add things as they come to me.
When I bought the car it wasn't running right. I rewired the entire UTEC setup and drove the car 70 miles to work on every sunny day for the entire spring and summer. I never had one issue with the car. I had the steering rack, alternator, starter, and some boost and exhaust leaks fixed and the car came back to to me in the shape it is in now. At the moment there is no oil in the car because oil line had a leak in it. It let go in my garage so there was no damage to the motor. Here are the other issues:
- Needs new injectors (I have replacement RC 440cc injectors)
- Needs a tune (I have a PLX wideband that is new, just does not have the gauge)
- Needs new oil drain line (I have a brand new replacement)
- 2 stripped wheels studs on passenger front (I have a brand new set of Nismo studs)
- Rear bumper needs to be replaced (I have a OEM bumper that is currently painted Sterling Mist)
- Will need tires in the near future
I believe that is it. I want to be truthful and honest about the car. Along with all the parts I bought to repair the issues, I also have a brand new set of ProSport digital boost, oil temp, and oil pressure gauges and a brand new set of wheel locks that will go with the sale of the car.
