1999 SE 5-speed 48K $6200

1999 SE 5-spd Sterling Mist 47,800 miles. $6200 Columbus, Ohio

In my possession since new. Driven by no one else.
No kids. No food. No drink. No smoke. Occasional rain. Rare snow. Garaged almost every night since new.

One ride with nervous Beagle six years ago. Steam cleaned rear carpet. I love my dog, but she was never in this car again.

Scratches on top of front bumper. Scratches on top of back bumper. Closed garage door on both on different occasions.

On scratch on driver's rear quarter panel.

New(ish) tires. Not sure of exact purchase date.

Have original factory mats. Pulled out for a trip through the wash. Rear mats are pristine. Passenger one close to it. Driver's mat has a little wear.

Mods:
FSTB
Nifty fog light mod I found on this site a number of years ago.

Everything else is stock.

I've been doing my own oil changes for the past 3-4 years. Synthetic during that time.

No accidents. Clean title. Will send VIN privately for CARFAX.

Photos are viewable via this link (I hope).

Questions? Interested? Chastise me over the asking price? Either shoot me a PM or email via zeitgeist@columbus.r.com.

Thanks!

@mad man - Yeah, it's definitely up there. I'm open to offers, but I thought I'd aim high. Who knows?

As for 'zeitgeist', there was a mid-80s alternative country band from Austin by that name. It was one of my favorite bands at that time. I've got nothing to do with the movement of the same name.

Clean looking car but your asking price is insane. No leather, no moon roof, pretty much a bare bones SE with low miles. If you looking to buy a Max and saw this car for sale at this price.... No way!!
Your price should set based on reality and not with your heart. Sounds harsh, but that is the truth.
$3500 tops
Good luck with your sale.

Whoops. Forgot to add moonroof and power seat. Listing has been adjusted.

Thanks for the feeback on the price! Anyone is free to make an offer.

I appreciate all the feedback, guys!

I listed it on Cragislist late last night for $4200 and sold it this morning. The guy didn't even try to haggle. Pretty sweet!

Incidentally, the NADA shows a retail price of $4800, with the addition that prices could be significantly higher with low mileage and exceptional condition. Yeah, I'm not retail, but this car had both.

Now I'm left wondering if I should've listed it for more!

My point exactly... the org is the worst place to sell anything. Cheap people here to the MAX!

Glad you found a buyer
