It has a K&N panel filter installed. Mobile 1 ATF is in the transmission, and I use Mobile 1 10w30 in the engine.

 

I have seen you bring this AE back from when you first acquired it and I have to say it looks great. This had to be a tough decision to let this one go. Good luck with your sale sir.

 

Thanks man! I really want to get my garage enclosed by this winter ( I currently have a roof and pad with no siding), and I have more cars than I can drive, so I need to sell a few of them. My AE has been a great car for me and I will miss it but it is time for it to go.

Okay, I know everyone will have an opinion of what the car is worth and I know everyone in general on car forums like to get everything for a steal. I really don't think it will sell on the forums but I thought I would post it here just in case. I am very familiar with the maxima market out side of the .org too. A lot of people still want to find a clean car and are willing to spend more than bottom dollar. This car is very nice with no rust and I am not in a huge hurry to sell it.

 

Good luck with the sale Carson... The forums is the worst place to sell nowadays. Most of the org members are cheap as hell. They want good $hit for free

Im always talking to Mr 301 (: someone is looking to buy my s14 and I really wouldnt sell it except to get back into a nice maxima again. The built na blk 03 already sold. ): besides that one car there are other maxis not built but selling for more money asking prices. Go figure

 

Like I told Albert, I want to boost that car before I let it go. I have all of the parts I just lack the time

This is my daily driver again since I had knee surgery and cannot drive stick, it has 137k on it now. I am open to reasonable offers.

Members, this was my old car. I owned it from 2003-2011 and from
34,000 to 104,000 miles. The 8 years i owned it were mostly spent under a car cover in an oversized garage. It saw hardly any rain or snow until promoted to full time duty in 2009. From what I recall the last 40k or so was done in 2 years
Thanks to my wife's long highway commute. The other years it saw 7000-10000 a year or less. This car is in awesome shape overall and with a little minor leather work would be as good as new. It's worth every dollar Carson is asking. I recently drove 5 hours to see it and drive it for the first time since May 2011 and I felt right at home behind the wheel again. It ran as smooth and quiet at 136,000 miles as it did the day I bought it.

I intended to buy this car had I been able to flip a Prelude 4WS but people are cheap and don't appreciate rare cars sometimes. Carson knew I've been in the hunt for a rare Legend or TL Type-S as my next car and I've made a move on the Type-S before anyone else had a chance and bought it sight unseen. This AE is a great car that has had an easy, garaged life, and deserves a members home and not some random clown.

I just installed a brand new Gold series battery from Advanced Auto.

heated seats work well

 

700 mile trip this weekend, the car did really well, and cruise control works.

 

139k miles. The car just past VA inspection today. I put 4 new tires on the car. Passenger side sway bar end link, and outer tie rod ends on both sides. New brake pads all around and new rotors on the front. Also, brand new window lift motor and regular on the driver (front left) window.

 

all that work, might as well keep her now.

 

I have too many cars I got it ready for my wife to drive it until we sell her car and get another one for her.

 

I know I'm pretty late to the party, but...did you ever sell this car?
