225k on the odometer, and counting GLE, power moonroof, leather seats, Bose stereo with all speakers working One owner, non-smoker, garage kept Current daily driver (until three weeks ago, got a new car), so runs great Has always started and run smooth, 100% of the time over 225k Engine strong Tires only have about 25k on them (60k Kuhmo’s – I got 75k on the last set) Satellite radio (aftermarket) – I will include the radio and boombox to transfer to your house/etc. if you are paying asking price or close to it (you would need to pay the satellite subscription yourself). It should have a clean Carfax as no accidents were ever reported (all body damage is late in life) Clean and clear title in hand Only selling as my wife and daughters thought I deserved a new car
Next owner should: Replace battery (current one is 10+ years old) Replace brake pads and possibly rotors (passenger rear had caliper problem (replaced last year) that caused uneven wear). Had hand surgery and couldn’t do those stupid twist in rear caliper pistons for awhile. Replace torn passenger front boot.
Next owner could: Replace cat back exhaust (It is original and still intact but on borrowed time) Replace coolant Replace ATF Clean throttle body (I do it about every 30k, and it is due) Replace spark plugs (they are NGK platinum with about 70k on them) Body work (obviously) – driver door was backed into about 20k ago, nice check from his insurance company. Passenger side with three separate incidents (guardrail glance from ice slide, falling tree in storm (seriously!), and post in parking garage). Tiny amount of rust in the most common location on these cars, near rear wheel well.
Can give maintenance status of any item on the car. Everything works except volume control on stereo. You can adjust it, but it takes some time and potential silence or loud roar until you get it where you want it. Also I have passenger rear door locked shut with child lock and have been afraid to open it after body damage.
Would love to see someone run it to 300k plus. I would part it out but I don’t think my wife would go for that. Parts are probably worth double the whole.
