Boston 2003 Nissan Maxima SE 6 Speed 124k miles - $3,000

See craigslist ad for photos: http://boston.craigslist.org/gbs/cto/5575927359.html

Additional info on top of everything that's listed on the Craigslist ad:
  • Car burns oil, like any other 5.5 gen Maxima. About a quart every 1000 miles. When I did the spark plugs, the right rear tube was completely full of oil. Didn't bother with valve cover gaskets, I just top it off every friday.
  • Fuel gauge doesn't work. Also pretty common failure on these cars, I haven't replaced it due to the difficulty of finding an MT gauge cluster. I just reset my odometer every time I get gas and then fill up between 300 and 350 miles.

Car runs amazing, and is in great shape mechanically if not cosmetically. Located in the Boston area.

How can you make this statement and then explain that gauges don't work and it leaks oil like hell and gasket is where its leaking oil and you didn't fix that??

Neither of these problems you have listed a that common.. Common to YOUR car maybe.
Well, thanks for being honest I guess...
And really!!! GLWS
