Selling a 1985 Maxima GL wagon. 163k miles. $600

We have too many projects and would like to pass this one on to a real enthusiast, which is why we are posting it here. The car is a solid start to a good daily driver. It was driven in its current condition for a long time, but to be truly safe it needs to be brought up to date on its maintenance.

The Good:

-solid body with good paint

-good interior

-runs and drives reliably, engine is solid

-decent tires

-newer plugs/cap/rotor/fuel filter and a few other items



The Bad:

-steering and suspension systems need refurbishing (tie rod ends, shocks, bushings, etc)

-power steering doesn’t work (comes with new pump)

-timing belt is due for a change

-automatic transmission shifts somewhat harshly, but all gears and overdrive still function (might be a good candidate for a 5-speed swap)

-battery is old and iffy
