Very good point, I would want an extra day in case of traffic, etc. Then again, I don't plan on driving the speed limit either

I might, 100mph at 4000rpm or so in 5th can't be that good for fuel economy. I need to know when exactly we'll be heading back? Will we be back Sunday morning/noon or are you guys aiming for a sunday night return? I need to know to be sure my buddy comes along.

I'll be coming home Sunday probably, unless there are more activities going on, or if people wanna hang out. In that case, I'd head out Monday morning or something.

Depends on what's going on Sunday. Might start back Sunday afternoon if nothing's happening. Otherwise I'd start the trip back on Monday.

No problem man.. The 8500 is a great unit but it is kinda costly.. If you are looking for something more afordable I think I have access to the BEL or Whistler brands..

I'll be getting myself one of the newer cobras. I've been in a car with them on a few long trips and it worked surprisingly well on the speedyways, but were retardedly sensitive if not set to city mode. I'm probably the last person in the world to need a radar detector, but for this trip it's better to be safe than sorry.

See how much you can get the BEL xr65 pro for, it's pretty much the best detector out there. Best I found was $220.

werd Sam, I agree with Dave. Can you check and see how much you can get the one he's mentioned. If not 163 is pretty sweet conmpared to retail. The link says $263. Anyways, how long would it take to ship to me through your man. We have until May at latest......
