I would like to know who is going to Maxus in Dallas? I live in Killeen/Ft. Hood. I could drive to Temple and stop somewhere right off of I-35 if you all would be willing to scoop me up so I could caravan in my car with yall. But first things first who are all going?

June 11th is when it starts. It is going to be for 3 days. June 11th, 12th, and the 13th. All on a Friday, Sat. and Sun.

 

I am definately down. I will probably go on the 12th & 13th. I was just gonna post up about doing a caravan in here. Beat me to it.

There are some 350s from Temple that I know...I'll try and find out what day/time they're leaving.

 

Im going and Im down to caravan. I would like to head up there Friday morning. Stay the night, chill all day sat and possibly head back sat night.

 

I am pretty flexible on the dates. I can definately take Friday off for a caravan up there. I'm kind of surprized not to many people have posted up for this? What happened to everyone?

 

I thought space was limited and the idea was to only have maxima's there?

I think they will stay true to the maxima reserved parking. I wouldnt mind leaving Friday morning. Thats the day that I was hoping the caravan would happen. Considering some people being able to be off. I shouldnt have a problem with that date at all.

Royal_T and i are both going from San Antonio, we planned on going up on friday to be there for the dinner friday night but we are flexible. Since we are the farthest south i you'll want we can start off the caravan and just pick up everyone on the way

What hotel are ya'll staying at?

 

I just came back from Dallas it was roughly a 3-4 hour trip, so with that in mind, what time would everyone wantto arrive?
Early Friday, midday or the eveing?
To me, the earlier the better.
Personally, Id like to arrive and park at around 12-1.

Also, heads up, the road going N I35 before Dallas SUCKS!
Its full of cracks, and holes,..literally. Its one rough a$$ ride.

I think its a Holiday Inn. They were mentioning some sort of group deal on the rooms in the general forum. You might want to post up in there and see what the deal is before making a reservation.

I can leave at anytime on Friday. I guess we are at the mercy of the SA guys getting up early though. Maybe a few of us should start trading cell phone numbers so people can call with ETA's on the day of the caravan. I mean its cool to have a plan, but Murphy's Law always applies and I would rather not be stuck waiting in a parking lot all day.

Last I heard Courtesy was the spot too.

 

I spoke to Matt93SE earlier today, and he was calling to confirm wether its for sure at Courtesy and if we can get a GD rate on our rooms.
He informed me he would keep me updated.

Id be interested to join the caravan as long as you wont mind a slightly disfigured Max. I will not have time to fix her up before the caravan with the time I have left in the desert. Custom front bumper and grille is crushed in in the middle a bit, cannot really notice it from a distance but up close it is horrid.

As far as the departure time, everyone speak up what they feel will work for them.

max88q, whenever you find a spot off the highway, just let us know. Im sure it wont be hard to find. There are many place we can meet up with you along the I-35.

Looks like the San Antonio guys are going to out number us, any other Austin guys care to join us, Speak up so we can add ya to the list.

I'll be bringin a video camera to film both the trip up there and at the meet.
