mapquest shows about 1550 miles from brooklyn to dallas. 24 hours of driving time. it's doable, but one helluva drive. I'd love to see you guys come out!

 

Its not that bad. I like to drive. I derive from Brooklyn, NY to South Beach in Florida every 3 months. This trip will take a extra day or so. I am trying to talk to my wife about going. She can help drive. I am retired and don't care how long it takes. Later Warren

 

The best way for you to head out from BK is to head out RT 80 from the NJ Turnpike and plan your route from there. I've done the drive to OKC a couple of times, one from Boston and the other from LI. I got out at 5:30am to about 7:30 PM each day. If you break it up, it won't be so bad.

 

Is anyone else from New England going down to Maxus or is it just me?

Im gonna be leaving Monday morning and arive at College Station on Thursday. So anyone else with me ?

 

I'm going but I haven't made my mind up on what day I'm leaving.
