Track Day Signup!

Track day at Texas World Speedway!
http://www.texasworldspeedway.com
Cost will be $180 per car/driver for 4 hours of track time. Beginners and experienced drivers are welcome, as well as any non-nissan that wishes to attend.
Entry forms are here:
http://mattblehm.com/maxus/TWS_App.doc
PLEASE FILL THESE OUT ASAP TO ENSURE YOUR SPOT AT THE TRACK! Space is limited, and we need to get these done soon so the track manager doesn't think we're a bunch of goobers that ask for a track day and don't show up. You can even pay with check or credit card! Just download the application and send it in to the track at the contact info at the bottom.
Best bet is to drive in to College Station on Thursday and stay there thurs night. (I will post hotel info later.) gates open at 7am on Friday morning. driver's meeting usually around 8am..
When it's over (about 5pm), we will caravan back to the Dallas area Friday night and check into our hotels there and then find something casual to do for the rest of the evening.
Hotel Info:
For the people who want to come to the road course event on Friday, you should come in on Thursday night unless you live close to College Station.
the hotel we will be using is the Manor House Inn: http://www.manorhouseinn.com/
Contact info: 1-800-231-4100
Rates are $55 per night. Be sure to tell them you're there for Maxus 2005, or request block CGMB#1 to get the discounted rate.
I have reserved 40 rooms for the track event, so no problem not having space here. but still please get your names in early. They are releasing my block of rooms at the end of May so no more reservations are guaranteed if you call after that.
So post any questions or signup info here...
so far, we've only had two people sign up for the event.
1. Me
2. Joe Antos from Spencer, MA (sorry if I butchered the spelling- I got your entry info over the phone from the trak manager)

so far looks like its Just us Matt, I can't wait to get on that track im putting a bit of coin into the Max to make it competitive.
and its spelled Antas, yeah it gets mispelled alot...
Well at least I will get to try out my new SFCs im getting installed at Warpspeed on the way down. I was just on the phone with Dallas trying to get him to sign on for the track day but he doesn't seem interested.
Also on another note is there any way I can borrow a helmet for the track? The helmets im finding are a bit to pricey, but I may just bite the bullet and charge it.

Add me to the list:
1. Me
2. Joe Antos from Spencer, MA (sorry if I butchered the spelling- I got your entry info over the phone from the trak manager)
3. Bluesbrekr (Tom)
I've made the hotel reservation and I'll send in the track reservation this week. Looking forward to it even though I'll be in the novice/beginner class. I've got a Snell M2000 helmet. Does that meet their requirement?

what happened to all these people that want to get their cars out on the track?
I got an email from Jack today stating the event is ON, no matter what. so I NEED to make sure we get some people to show up to this thing! I DO NOT want to dissappoint them, as this goes against my credibility with these guys in setting up events in the future. If I don't show up with at least 30 people, the track is going to lose a HUGE amount of money ($10,000 to open the gates for a day!!), so if everyone bails on me, getting them to do another event like this won't be easy.
