Good idea. I know I met a bunch of members last year and heard a lot of names, but it was hard to remember who was who.

I just remember doing this at one of the old NY/NJ meets and it worked out good. Helps a lot bumping into people you have talked too for years online with nametags vs walking right by them not knowing who they are and not saying anything.

Yeah I think Name tags would be a good idea. I met a few people last year, but it would be easier to figure out everyone's name.

Warpspeed sent me a couple hundred blank name tags last year that I accidently left at home.

I'll be sure to bring them this year.

Design us one and we will!!
I did it last year- well sorta... gave a local shirt place my design and they laughed at it.. so I told them to come up with something better and that's what we had last year.

Sarah, if you want to handle that this year, be my guest.
I'll be willing to pay the bill for them again this year, as long as I eventually get the money back...

If it is not done last minute. Matt remember I have a local shop that does t-shirts here. And we don't have to make a huge order.
Also, we could get sponsers to pay to be on the back of the t-shirts to reduce the cost even more.

Sarah, I'll have a chat with the site sponsors, but no promises on that.. I'll be glad to donate a few bucks, but I'm not going to fork out $1500 like I did last year!

I think name tags would be a hell of an idea if used correctly...such as having both the Org screen name as well as real name on it.

Just to give a new idea maybe - my friend is into Cougars, and every year they do their version of Maxus called "Cougarfest." They hold an informal show/greet at a centralized parking lot, and they all write their screen name tags in front of their car. Seemed to be pretty nice from the pictures I saw.
