I vote central, then perhaps we can block some track time off here..

Although, last i checked, unless it's a special circumstance, they won't let you run your own vehicle.

In new york we have monthly meets that are larger then maxus has ever been. Holding Maxus in new york would probably yield the biggest crowd

OK to all you dreamers, please check local tracks for prices on how much it would be to do some racing, and not straight line racing for bishes.

Road Atlanta is HUGE dollars,.

Chicago guys wouldn't mind doing this again.

We would have more cars, if people from here would ACTUALLY show up. Many of the people from the list of attendees have NOT shown up.

I am not driving half way across country to go drag racing.... I won't even drive 5 min to go drag racing.

How is IOWA Central and IL is not ? who made the decision to call IL- central east ?

I would be on road racing like stink on sh*t. Seriously people call around for pricing. Chicago wasnt bad at all. I thought it was great.

this is why i was confused on why we only had liquid venom representing ny/nj area... i know you guys have a HUUUUGGEEE community.. and 1 guy shows up? kind of disappointing if you ask me....

from what i can tell... no matter where we do it... its going to be a huge local meet.. with a couple out of towners... cuz no one(except a few) on this forum are really willing to drive more than like... 3-4 hours for a meet.. which really is unfortunate...

this poll is messed up.. too many ppl clicking on the wrong thing... i guess we will see where this poll takes us...

I will just STFU and sit back, I will love to hear the price quotes you get for different tracks. Obviously this is why Maxus this year didn't have as many attendees as we should have- lack of track. We can't fork out 4-5K dollars on a track and have half the .org back out- isn't that the usual ?

I did.
I based it on a map.
Illinois is actually just off center. If Central wins the poll, the central region will become a little larger to cover a few more states for fairness because some voted central with the intent of east/west central.

If east coast wins and it's in NJ, I'll probably show.
Anyplace else (other than here) presents issues to me.

Where there is a road course event I would go, provided I get the time off from work.

I would of been at Maxus this year if there was a road course event planned. In '05 & '06 I went to Texas, so distance isn't so much an issue with me.

nope, most of them want to live a 1/4 mile at a time. the ser convention was in chicago and it was the lamest one yet. the one in pa/nj was the biggest cuase NY represented. if its on the east coast, we can rent pocono race track for a decent price, probably cost each driver about 150-175 and the nycmax boys will show. these conventions need to be by big cities where people will show up, having the in the middle of the country were 3 people own maximas is stupid!
