Xander I haver a suggestion for a few of the smokers here. I see on Friday, and Saturday night you leave it up to the individual to choose what they want to do. ChicagoMax98(Azeem) has his own hookah/cigar lounge. I'm planning to make a trip out to his place on Friday night from downtown after the cruise/photo shoot. Anyone that wants to join and follow me. Place closes at 2am.
For Saturday night i can show them/suggest a few clubs to visit.

What's the deal with front license plates? I seriously haven't seen my front plate in 8 years. I can do some digging though.

it technically only applies to Illinois registered cars, but some cops may decide to write the ticket anyhow.
BTW Wisconsin is a mandatory front plate state as well.

..... this could be a problem. In NC, there is no such thing as a "front license plate"..... ie, I don't have another plate to put on my car, period. Well, I have a Minnesota plate from my parts car, but you know what I mean.

Bring a copy of the law that says only a rear plate is required?

i'll call the DMV later and ask them where i can get that information to print and carry with me. the officer SHOULD know though, or be able to call in and ask his jurisdiction. I can always make a cardboard one (snap a pic, print on printer, wrap around cardboard, tape in back, done. or wrap it around my parts car's LP.

I would not worry about it. If your state doesn't require a front plate, you can tell the officer that. Odds are that you only get pulled over for doing something wrong, not only a front plate. I am going to take a chance on not having one. I don't even have a bracket, or holes for a bracket. on my WI registered car. I just don't plan on driving in a way that draws attention.

so what's the deal in WI? supposed to have 2 plates but nobody cares? they give you 2 plates just in case you go to another state that requires them?

In Wisconsin law requires you to have a front and back plate. But I live in the downtown of a city and cops here dont care cause they have more important things to do. Madison cops are actually pretty lenient on speeding too unless you are doing a ridiculous speed. Out in the smaller towns though cops will more likely pull you over for not having a front plate on. You can see in my sig that I still have the front plate on but it has long been off now.

I figured a way to mount a front plate (if I have to) so I will throw it in the trunk. If I get stopped I'll offer to put it on right there. Problem solved
