Just an FYI. there is construction on the 94 in illinois to wisconsin so traffic is tragic at all times of day.

just got to the Hampton hotel. Traffic coming south from Milw. was moving smoothly, no stopping or back-ups.

Another tid bit of info:
in illinois if you see a car with a green license plate that starts with the letter "M" it is a municipal vehicle (I.E. Police car, Utility truck)

 

Watch out for the speed zones marked 45mph. State of ill have traffic cameras inside white vans that will take a pic of you and your car if youre speeding on the EDENS exprsway coming in from the north. Something like $345 for the first ticket. So watch out boys..
