capedcadaver came from North Carolina.

BTW if anyone doesn't want their plates showing I can take down the photos of your car (too lazy to white them out).

home, safe, and THIRSTY haha. I stayed monday (slept until 3pm to ensure a rested state for the return trip), chilled for a little bit, packed up the parts i got from john, and left at 11:15pCDT (12:15aEDT) and got home at 2:30pEDT, sooo 14 hours and 15 minutes. only stopped for bathroom, an Amp green in the outskirts of Indy, and breakfast in NW Ohio. took a bunch of pics on the way home of all the pretty mountains and stuff in WV and VA.

i kept getting people flashing their highs at me b/c my loaded trunk pitched the front of the car up so it looked like my highs were on

Did John give you a whole parts car?!?!?!
That must have been a ton of stuff to jack the front up.

God damn, I really wish I went this year. I have a friend in Chicago that I wanted to meet with during this trip too. New job is worth it I guess, and there is definitely next year which I will attend!

I really wish I could have made it.

I did take the 97 out to a supra meet on 21st though. Just could not afford the trip this year. Next year we plan on doing something with maxus again.

So is that like the type where the brakes are LEDs and the insides are signals/reverse? If so are the signals amber or red?

ya they are. they have clear lenses so they are whatever color bulb you have. In kozue's case, she had white turn signals that were bright as ****.

yea i like white too. That's how come I don't get why cars with only one red bulb and one white bulb don't put the signals onto the reverse light circuit... since the red lights are on way way way more often than the white ones... and it's not very often that your signals and reverse lights are on together... but pretty common for parking/brakelights to be on while signals are on. I guess car makers are just retarded or something...

White turn signals are illegal in most if not all states, so that's why carmakers don't use the same bulb for reverse and signals....

well red signals are illegal in the rest of the world... besides austraila has amber reverse lights i've heard. frankly white is far safer and more distinctive than red, and if it is illegal, it definitely shouldn't be. i've seen people tap their brakes in-time with their signal on accident, and wonder why i didn't know they were getting in front of me... or if they've got bulbs burned out. red is just plain dumb. but i like Kozy's tail. wait that sounded dirty...

I agree, amber signals are much better than red signals. However, the third brake light is always in a very visible location and of course it never comes on with red turn signals so it's not really that confusing.

I think the regulations are aiming at a color coded system that is safe. If you see red, you know you're behind the car. If you see white you know the car is coming towards you. If you see flashing amber you know the car is turning to that side. These cues become really important when it's pouring rain or snowing and you can barely see the car in front of you.

yea i see what you mean about the coming/going thing. mannny cars in my area (and others) don't have third brakelights due either to spoiler removal or laziness to replace the bulbs, or car age. For example my grandpa's 84 cutlass has no chmsl, and has one bulb for red and one for white. meaning that if you put on your flashers then apply the brakes... the rear lights don't change a bit. I plan to retro a cmsl and amber signals onto it eventually. Crude, but safer.

It's all good Sean, you did so much for us last year, we still considered your company as a sponsor this year. And you will still get a free t-shirt as well. Pm Kozue your info and she will send you one.
