I know its a bit off topic, but a guess a little bit more of a fun creative thread.
We need to do a group picture with everyone that will be showing, since predicitons show this will probably be the largest maxima meet ever.
So why not discuss how we want to do it, with cars, without cars, location, how to lay it out.
I say with cars and do it by generation and then color. We would need to find a location that we could get high up (high school football stadium?, top of bleachers over parking lot?)
What do you all think?

In complete agreement. I think more "plans" can be made regarding this once we actually have a firm hotel location.
Although i'll post up a few good spots here shortly that I think would provide for great back drops in that area.

I like the idea. But, it will probably have to be a completely separate and organized event. People will have to choose to show up at a particular location.
If we do it during the park BBQ/Awards Presentation, then we won't be able to organize the cars by generations. Parking will probably be an issue at the park. So some people will have to park in a small separate parking lot.
What about doing it during the scenic cruise? According to the public poll Bobbie posted, it looks like we will have a LOT of support during this event! Once everyone gets to the awesome scenic location, we can spend an hour grouping all the cars together and take a ton of photos. I mean, isn't that what the scenic cruise is for? Taking awesome photos?

btw, I'm a fan of pictures of the group of PEOPLE as much as the cars. We all know what each others cars look like, but theres something more personal about seeing the people themselves. Our cars don't make the forum/meets, our people do.
