but I kept the Milles, those are Atix-5's. Can't really see the wheel here, but even from this angle, you can tell they're not the Milles.

yup, you're right, it says clearly on the tire, EXTERIOR, damn idiots @ discount.

I'm not wearing Pzeros now. That pic was when I had them on my 4g, the tires I have on now are UHP's. I actually have 2 Pzeros for sale in that size, if you know of anyone interested.

My 4th gen is rollin on my TE's now. I have Milles, Atix 5's and the tracklites. The Atix 5's are out of production but the style is common as I've seen replicas everywhere, in fact the 3 has 1 relplica and you cannot tell, besides the fact that its much newer....less beat up.. from close of course.

That has yet to be proven. I did get better MPG with them.

Butt dyno approves, but thre humblemaker will tell all. I’ve also been thinking of doing a couple of comparisons using my WB datalogging capabilities.. i.e. speed gain with respect to time, trying to keep conditions as even as possible.

S-techs up front = snow plow

That is correct. Very even drop.

Handling
Progress all around + Illuminas =
Looks
S-techs in front + Progress rear = with respect to LOOKS. BUT
Handling
Front (stechs) are bouncy as sin. .. But they look good

I'm looking into CO's currently (looks + handling, CO = CoilOvers), but CO's seem to have quite a bit of probs...May just go with Eibachs.

(only because Irish gives them props)

Yeah same here, CO's seem to be a lot less reliable and high maintenance. I would hate to send them out every year for a rebuild. Although the slammed look is lovely.

Something else you can try is shortened Koni's up front to allow more travel for your S-Techs, but that's more work than just bolting up. Keep me updated, I'd like to know what your final decision is, as I too am looking for a suspension upgrade.

I have other 18's too (MMEV5's), but wanted a lighter set. They're not staggered. They're rears all around (8.5's) with 15mm spacers in the rear and 5mm up front. Very good stance, not staggered, (even though the spacers are), and it looks very flush all around). I've had these wheels forever, just hadn't switched tires (from EV5's to these).

I got a flat on my other wheels (Traklites 2.0) and 2 were bald, and 1 got a flat, so essentially I only had one good tire. So, I'm looking into getting some winter tires (See Tire wheel AS thread, Conti's Extreme). So, these went on in the meantime, since I've never had 'em on before.

That's kinda the story behind the story as to why these went on.

Any rubbing in the rear when going over large bumps/potholes? What is your suspension setup now?

Progress reear springs, S-Techs up front, Illuminas all around.

I only get rubbing over large bumps, and on the passenger side, and it's only because I need to recenter my rear beam.

Your car is a fine example of how the 5.5 gen should have come from the factory.

WV2 + TEs = sex. Pure, orgasmic "Kama Sutra" type sex.

Nmex, you sprayed model paint into the signal portion, right?

Ya, I'm not much of a fan either, but I couldn't find anything lightweight that was affordable at the time.

Let's see... MMEV's/Traklites/Z33tracks/stocks. I still have them all too, I need to sell the MMEV's to an unsuspecting victim and the black ones and purchase some cooler ones(LW) now that I can afford it.

Thanks!

You sir, are correct.

Now that i think about it, I shoulda gone with 225-50's, fill the well out a touch more. But ya...

NM plates suck, I want to get one like the Gen coupe from NMSTateU, looks a touch better.
