actually, we came very close to buying one in the rare red color as well, except that it had a lot of chips on the hood and the dealer refused to fix 'em. Decided to go with the Sterling Mist instead

Wow, that looks great. Crimson Blaze has always been my absolute favorite color for the 4th gens. Those OEM wheels look very classy and tasteful, I like them even more-so than the 02/03 17x7 wheels that I had on my 1997 Maxima. Great job!

Gotta say, sharp lookin car. At first glance I wasn't quite feeling the rims, but after a few moments of gawking I think they look great. Nicely done.

Now, the hard decision.

Take off the Q45s and slap on the stock SE-wheels with Blizzacks.

Or

Keep the Q45s on and put on some Dunlop Winter Sport M3s.

I've really gotten used to the wheels and dont want to give up the superior traction and stability with this wheel/tire size combo.

Just stick some winter tires on your Q45 rims since you like them that much. I don't bother using separate rims for my winter tires. Winter is sooo long anyway so you might as well enjoy them all year round!

Only issue is, my choice of winter tires is limited with a 235/45/17 style. And they are usually $50 more per tire. So, i'll probably go back to the SE-L wheels for the winter.

I see...well its good that the Infiniti rims will stay in better shape then. I do think I like them even more now that I've seen them in person!

Its actually one nearby my house. Usually empty on the weekends, alot easier to work with. One thing Id love to do is get shots ontop of the MOA parking ramp with the skyline of Minneapolis in the background. But ive never had time to do it.

If you're not too busy then we should do that when I come down in October...the only pics I have of my car are on dirt roads.

car is looking great, if there is one thing i would change would be the bumper lights. i think it would match the headlights better if u painted them black as well.
