Finally got a chance to take some new shots with the new eyelids courtesy of "Bluebatmobile". Tell me what you guys think...

 

did he send you the wrong ones? sorry, but they follow no lines at all. weren't they supposed to line up with the hood? not too bad, but imo there's hardly a difference.

i still like the idea, just the original design better. those interested, info is in the eyelid thread.

I always felt that the headlights for the MAX should look more "meaner", like the '05 Altimas/Quest...

Makes me wonder why Nissan chose a "softer" look for the MAX...???

You'd think the MAX would be a "mean machine", leading the way as a flagship model should! (What were you thinking Nissan?)

 

Yeah I thought the same thing but I like them...hardly a difference but good enough for me.

i like the design that jiujitsuthug has on his max. what do you guys think about a cut out to cover the orange strip inside the headlight? can someone photochop?

Your cars sick...no doubt about it. I have "bluebats" on my Z. We should get him to make chrome overlays to chrome out the amber side markers.

blax you have a nice ride man i really like the rims IMO nicest black max besides mine. i just put my backup camers in i am gettin ready for some rims.

 

I actually did a little of my own "modding" to the eyelids. When I put them on first, I thought they looked a little too small so I heated it up some and stretched it out more to bring it out some. I like it better that way IMO.

That's the first thing i thought. Upside down??? They don't really flow with the lines of the car. Idk i'm still undecided on them all together.

 

Damn, your car is hot, not feeling the eyelids though. Someone else had a set and posted pics on the Org and the lines seemed more aligned with the hood gap lines for both the sides and front. Never mind, it was JJT, anyway, why the different install???

 

on JTT's car, the skinny part of the eyelid is at the top of the headlight
on blaxima's car, the skinny part of the eyelid is at the bottom of the headlight

Passengerside looks about an inch lower towards the hood line than the drivers in this pic... I still like tho...

Nope never, my Max stays in the Va. Beach area. I dont really take it on long drives.
